We're also doing the ressie rush, but just for Palo's. I decided I really didn't need to do a spa reservation since I can do that at home. I'd rather nap on Deck 4

We are on the May 7 cruise also. This will be the second for me, my DH and my DD20. We are going to be joined by my DD24 and her fiance also. We are in 6528 and 6530. I was even more excited when we found out about the FL resident rates for the Cruise. I got a major refund from DU.
Just so you all won't be jealous of us FLoridians, the forcast for tomorrow is rain, rain, rain and more rain. Of course the temp will be in the 70's but I won't mention that.
I've been obsessing over this since I booked back in August.
Time can move so slowly.

Thanks for the warm welcome, all! I can't tell you how excited I am to join in at the last minute - October was just too far away. True to being a Capricorn, I just don't "do" the patience thing well.
Those FL Rates were just too darn good to pass up - I own property with my mom in St. Augustine. So, we're booked in #6130.
We'll definitely be seeing you all at the Official DIS meet onboard. If there's anything I can do to add to the festivities, ask away. I'm starting to read through all 23 pages of this thread and trying to catch up on everyone.
LostGirls - we'll definitely have to introduce the little princesses. This is the first cruise that my DD can go to the Kids' Club - and she's very excited about it. YEAH!

My girls got the official word today that we are going. (we're traveling with Donna, TiggerZfan) They got my DS 3 so pumped up that he started to cry when we pulled up at the grocery store because he thought we were going to the Mickey Boat.
So what are we doing at our cruise meet? I have an idea.... We can stand up one at a time and say something along the lines of ,"My name is Rachel and I am a DIS-a-holic."

We have all our excursions booked
we are doing the
Rum Point Beach and stingray snorkelling in Grand Cayman.
& The Fury Catamaran Sail Snorkel and Beach Party.
Are you flying in the day before?
We will be flying out of Boston

We've book our excursions as well, doing the 2 hour snorkeling with Capt Marvin and the Fury Catamaran & Beach through Disney.

Wow, I can't believe it's on 49 days till we leave We're flying in 2 days early (better airfare) and staying at the Comfort Inn @ Cocoa Beach. It'll be my first time to the East Coast and the Atlantic Ocean

according to DH it only gets better : )

I grew up in Taunton moved to Bridgewater with DH
and ended up here in Maine-Dayton next to Saco.
Love it........... Would not move back to MA for anything.
although most of our family is down there.

We are flying out the day before as well! We'll be flying out of Hartford and staying at the Raddison in Cape Canaveral the night before. We'll be on deck 6 too!! Can't wait!!

Did you folks book through the Disney shore excursions or did you do it on your own? I heard some good things about Capt. Marvins??

We booked our stingray city with Disney. I heard good things about Capt Marvins and Capt Bryans
I just felt more comfortable with Disney if they happen to run late
The boat won't leave without you....
