7 day Western in late April - be honest...

....Is it very humid during this time? I've read alot of posts saying the weather was 'perfect', but I am just worried about the humidity. We went on our 1st cruise in Dec. and it was a little too cool for our taste. Now, I'm thinking about a visit to the parks in early Dec., and a 7 day Western cruise in April '05. If you've been during this time, please give me your honest opinion!

Also, I'm wondering if there are too many spring-breakers during the last week of April???? Help!

I don't think humidity will be a problem on the ship or in the islands. I recall reading whatever keeps the temps warm also keeps the humidity away .... Even though the bahamas isn't far off the florida shore, it is much more tropical and less humid.

Most colleges have spring break during March, and high schools are the week before or after Easter .... I think you'll be fine! (I'd go!)

We were on the 4/26/03 Western Magic. I remember Cozumel being hot, but other than that (and a brief torrential downpour in Key West) our weather was fine.

NOPE! It's Great! It is so great we booked again for April 2004.

I think it is one of the best times to cruise. Not to hot/cold, it's just perfect.

We were on the first Western leaving May 11th, 2002. The only day it was too hot was Cozumel. I think all the asphalt by the pier just makes that port feel hotter. Other than that, it was PERFECT!

I am strongly considering booking the late April Western myself - it will be DH's and my 20th anniversary in 2005. We spent our 16th at WDW with an Illumations Cruise, and this is the only thing I can think of to top that! (especially since the kids will be along).

We were on the 3-day Wonder on 10/16/03 and loved it but it was WAY too short!

Tell me about it! Our 1st 4night Wonder in Dec. was way too short, too! Maybe we'll end up on the same cruise! Maybe I can talk my dh into it by telling him it's for our 10th anniversary... The only downside is, there goes our 1st trip to Hawaii I had wanted to take next year! I just can't help that I'm addicted to Disney!!!!!

We were on the same 4/26/03 Western as Plutospup and I totally agree with her ....a brief downpour in Key West was the worst of it. We are planning on going again on the late April05 Western again!! Maybe we will meet you !!
