7 day tickets not sold?

Well that is all fine and good and I am happy you were able to cash in on some deals, but it doesn't exactly help anyone looking to buy tickets now.

Please reread Post #19. Sorry you think this discussion is out of place.

My intro to Universal came last year via three 7-day park-to-park tickets that I got at my local base for $288 total and no tax. If the OP has similar access, they might be able to get a good deal like me, just not on the 7-days.

There. I was helpful and nostalgic, all at the same time.

Not sure what you're getting at here, but if you think these boards are for simple questions and strict on-topic answers only we wouldn't have many threads or responses here nor would you have as many helpful people hanging around.

When I buy tickets to Disney or Universal, I always look at the historical prices/specials for comparison purposes. But you are free to offer your own advice if you have something better -- and if you don't like the conversation, no one is forcing you to participate.

Personally, I enjoy talking to the folks on the Universal boards more than any other forum here on the Dis and always like seeing where the conversations go.

Sorry to start a thread that is bringing so much tension! I am a long time reader and definitely know about the cheap tickets that used to be offered. I used to get them in the past, and I wish I would have snatched up a bunch of them when they were available and not have to splurge now for the same tickets. I also agree that reminiscing is not a bad thing at all on these threads. It's what makes them interesting to keep reading! Thank you so much everyone for all of your help. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out on some great deal somewhere.

No tension, no worries -- I hope you find the deal you're looking for. Most importantly, enjoy your trip.

It's all good. :cool2:

Glad to hear you got something out of the discussion.

don't be sorry.
it really is rare for that to have happened. the UO boards are nothing like the CB threads.

most of the posters here are relaxed and excited to share info to a newbie posting.
and when they share, you learn something about that poster.

that makes it a lot easier for people to ask questions (about universal parks, city walk and hotels) when it is personalized.

with answering a question or discussing some topic that arises, we all learn something new each day.

when i share information, i share it as how i went thru it.
such as the first time i had to buy tickets, or questioned about discounts...etc

you should come back and join us at Something about Nothing.
it is basically a chat thread but we do have homies that come in to ask a question.

you will get replies from different angles.

and you will learn more about the regular homies that post over there.

Oh trust me I know! I have read all these threads for about 2 years. Just have never really had a question! You all seem like great people.
