Well this increase kind of put kink in my plan for our trip this fall.

We were going to meet 1 set of family for the 4 day weekend of Thanksgiving (I know will be packed) using a 5 day park hopper and then after the blackout dates we were going to upgrade to deluxe annual passes to extend our stay for the next week. Since the dramatic increase in prices on the deluxe passes I am looking for another option.

I need 7 days at the resort so I am looking for a Canadian travel agent that would sell 3 of them to a US resident.

Does anyone know of a good Travel Agent in Canada that would sell just the park hopper tickets?

Thanks!

I don't think that will work. My DH has a friend in Canada who was willing to buy tickets for us there and be paid back with a check, but we couldn't figure out how to make it work. He was told we would need to show Canadian id or passport to redeem then. We decided it wasn't worth the risk. We bought 6 day hoppers from getawaytoday and are hoping to be able to add 1 or 2 days at the parks.

I can sell you the 7 day hoppers for $233/adult and $215/child. I will just need either your cc # or you can email the money. I work for a large travel company and we deal with the tour operator Holiday House or Fun Sun (all owned by Thomas Cook Group). There are no restrictions that these must only be sold to a Canadian resident. I don't put my contact info on here for obvious reasons, so would have to figure out a way for you to give me your contact info or message me.
Thanks:)

Just wanted to let you know that you cannot sell anything or exchange money here on this board. :)

oops, did not know that I couldn't say that on here. Won't do it again. Sorry DIS:)

Anyone still looking for the 6, 7 or 8 day park hoppers should just call a reputable agency in Canada. I just got off the phone with the tour operator I deal with and there is no restriction they need to be a Canadian citizen. They just need to supply names, birthdays and form of payment.

I just booked my kids for the child hoppers (I have some for free for me and DH). There is no place that asks for citizenship.

6 day hopper $229/adult $210/child
7 or 8 day hopper $233/adult $215/child

You should also not let an agency add a fee for this.

Don't know how long they will stay at this price, but you should book them now:)

Jill,

Thanks.... Any reputable companies that you know of?

This place a well known travel agency?

I can't name my company, but try an AMA location, a Marlin Travel, Harold Smith Travel, Algonquin, Sell Off Vacations, etc. look in a phone book for a big city and see what chains are in that city. You should be able to do this fine. I know we don't charge service fees for passes, but you should ask whatever agency you call to make sure.

Just so you know, I was never told we couldn't buy the tickets. I was told Disney would request Canadian ID to redeem the vouchers at the ticket booths. This was flightcentre. Idon't know if it is true but we decided not to risk it.

You don't need canadian id. I have redeemed these vouchers as early as last Septmember and we have been selling with the same tour operator for years and this is not one of the conditions. Like I said, I even called to check as this is definitely not the case. I dont' know who flight center books throught, but we use the Thomas Cook Group's companies.
