I'm thinking of getting these passes this year. Although we usually spend 5 days at the parks, we could spend 4 and do a couple of extras and then next year do 3 and a couple. Do a lot of people buy these?

I know the pass will be one pass for the full 7 days of the parks. It looks like you get 4 one-day admissions for the extras so are these 4 separate pieces of paper? Are our names printed on these?

Thanks for your help!

Its a paper ticket with no name on it. We usually put them in the plastic case with a lanyard. Make sure you record the ticket number in case it gets lost.

This is always what we have done in the past ... this year though we purchased 3 day hopper pluses because my DH didn't want me investing so much money in the 7 day (although this is still something I wish we'd done) because "we might never go back." He's been saying that the last 6 times we've gone. The nice thing about these tickets is that unused days are good forever.

Anyway, you get one pass and the magnetic strip records when you use it. In following years, I've asked our resort desk clerk to verify what's left on the passes (even though I know) and it actually brings up a list of dates/times for each use on their computer screen. If you go through a park turnstyle three times in one day, it will have all three recorded, but only one day deducted from use. Names of ticket "holders" are not recorded but the name of the purchaser and date of purchase might (not sure about that).

Last time we purchased tickets we got the 5 day hopper - used 3 days on that visit and last time (we stayed 9 nights) used 2 days. Since we go almost every year, we did not feel deprived as we also enjoy the resort pool (we stay on-site so are always part of the Disney magic) and water parks on other days. We're from the North so the vacation is as much for the warm sun as it is for WDW.

Agree with disneydiz, it is a good idea to record the ticket numbers and keep separately in case of loss.

You can purchase the plastic tickets at the Disney stores now. I purchased mine online with Disney and got plastic, no names on them.

I purchased 4 - 7D PHPP. We will be using 3 days on our trip next week, and the other 4 on our trip at the end of the year. You save good money with the longer tickets AND "we have to go back" to use them :p

Do you know about the 7 day PHP with the free character breakfast that Paramount has? We are getting these, and it is such a great deal! ;)
