Oh, and just adding, we are not otherwise ready at all yet. No packing here. We're planning on it being very hot, so none of our dressier outfits. On Friday here in PA, they're saying it's going to be 100 degrees. I'm looking foward to the "cooler" Bahamas.

You can add me in as not ready yet either, and I don't like it! I'm usually a bit more ready than I am this trip. Though I was busy this weekend, I had a new nephew born Saturday morning so had some visiting to do! So glad he came before we left! We are all getting excited too! This time next week we will be enjoying the ship!

It's 7 PM, 95 degrees, and a "feels like" of 111 here. YUCK! I've got people asking me to bring cooler weather back from the Bahamas - not what I'd expected to hear.

For anyone who has a last minute "Oh My Gosh The Kids Outgrew Their Clothes" moment: Gap is running a 30% off sale on their website right now. I wouldn't know anyone who just ordered 2 pairs of pants and a couple of polo shirts for their teenager...

Hope everyone is staying cool and not getting hit with too many last minute things. I snuck out and got some last minute things for me today (wait, moms are allowed to shop for themselves?) - I think that was the last of the clothes shopping I needed to get done. Now to get laundry done when it isn't 100 outside for the rest of the week - and get the house cleaned up for the house/dogsitter - can't believe we will be on the ship a week from now!

I got a tangerine color and a light blue...they looked tropical and fun to me!!

I'll be packing next Friday night and/or Saturday morning...so I'll be right there with you!!

I got my toes done yesterday in an aqua blue. They've been some shade or pink or red my whole adult life so I went with something I thought looked cute. I just hope they don't chip too bad because I used the polish there and need to buy some for touch ups.

i didn't even know they made nail polish in those colorsbet they look great! I've never had a mani or pedi, ever, just wing it myself.

okay, so it's the district lounge @ 2:30 pm on Sunday? nice to c'y'all & a good chance for me to sneak in 2 pics of the grad party, which was swell

Well I'm ready and packed. That could also be because I'm already in Orlando lol! Loaded up the car this morning and drove myself down for the interviews. Now of course I can't sleep!! I meet up with my DH and friends who are driving together tomorrow and then we officially start vacation on Tuesday! I can't believe it's been over a year of planning and it's almost here! Ok time to try and sleep! See ya in 6 days!

had free time, decided to start packing @ 3 pm. Getting ready to pour a cold one & call it a day, clothes packed.

now to find snorkles and get the paperwork, cameras, etc. ready.

this the earliest i've ever packed for any trip (you're a motivating bunch), figured i have to watch GD tomorrow, Weds & Fri better get a-moving.

Don't stand too close to me or you may fall off the ship......why you ask?? Apparently I am an accident waiting to happen and broke one of my little toes this morning my banging it on the vacuum!!

It's black and blue, but thankfully it's not that bad. There's not much to be done about broken toes either, so I'm not going to waste my time going to the doctor's.

I hope the bruising goes away before the cruise....it's going to be ugly with flip flops!!

Thank you! I pretty much was offered one of the jobs and it's a work at home so that might be the best bet for me right now. I really want the Shade of Green gig though!!

Oh, no... I've broken my pinky toes more times than I can count and it's never fun. A bag of frozen corn is the best thing you can put on it right now - that, and lots and lots of ibuprofen...

Hope it doesn't give you issues on the trip down to the port!

I'll have med wrap a-plenty with me if you need it - I've sprained my ankle so many times that it swells whenever I fly, and I just bring the wrap with me in case it doesn't go down. I'll be more than willing to share. ;-)

Oh no, Michelle! Okay, no more vacuuming or any housekeeping that doesn't pertain to this trip...just sit on the couch with your feet up and read the DISboards.

This helped me put things in perspective as I was just getting upset with myself that I can feel a pimple forming on my face. Don't want that on my embarkation photo!

i'm reading the online version of DCL passporter and have yet to find confirmation which floor of parking garage allows u to walk directly to terminal. So confused, have read both 3rd & 2nd! Anybody know 'fer sure?
