Actually, tonight is Sophmore homeroom night so, because I have a sophmore homeroom, I have to be at our dance/joust. They have a DJ and a joust. They have a big blow up mat and 2 kids at a time with helmets and gear, try to knock eachother off a raised column on to the mat. They love it! I, on the other hand, love the kids but could think of a much better way to spend a Friday night!:rotfl:

Tomorrow night DH & I are going to dinner in NYC and to see Mary Poppins on Broadway (my b'day gift). Really looking forward to it! I was Mary Poppins in a play in First Grade and she & I have been tight ever since!:woohoo: So we will probably be sitting between tons of kids, but I know I'll be having a good time. DH is a saint!

Sounds like you have fun-filled evenings! Saturday more than tonight though!

You are both so funny. :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :confused3 Have I mentioned posting pics is a foreign language to me and have no clue what to do with them? :confused3
I still have 23 days left in the month to get this done. :scared:

Here's a scarier thought - how long before the Christmas music goes on and the commercials start to air? :teeth: Tecnically then that makes it 47 or 48 days till Christmas depending on when you open presents.

As for me this weekend, looks like I'm back to being a poker widow. Also, Saturday I'm to attend an all day volleyball tournament which I've been promising DD that I would make one instead of showing up for the last game only. Great! I had to pick the furthest one. Anywho, DH will be playing poker I think at the Commerce Casino and I will make it an early night as I have to be up by 6:30 am - on a Saturday!

We have a radio station here that started playing Christmas music 24/7 starting on Nov 1. I was listening to it for a little bit. I'm not even in the car that much, and I heard at least 3 different versions of "Do You Hear What I Hear?" in one day, so i'm already done with it for a while. Although I also have to admit that when we put away our halloween decorations, we pulled the totes of Christmas decorations down. So right now there are about 25 big plastic totes out on our back porch.

This weekend I hope to finish painting the boys' room. I also have to start studying for a test next Friday, and to do some prep work for my clinical inpatient rotations that starts in a little over a week.

I am SO glad it's the weekend! Exactly one month from right now we'll be sailing away on board the Wonder. I can't wait!

Tonight Brennan has a football party for his Smurf football team that ended up 9-0. Keegan brought home a great report card so we are going to take him out to dinner.

We've got a big football day tomorrow. It's down to the top 4 teams in the play offs. Keegan's game's at 10:30 and we have to be there at 9:00---it's just over an hour away so no sleeping in for us. If they win they are in the championship next Saturday night under the lights. Keegan's not too thrilled with the timing since my parents got them Navy Vs. Notre Dame tickets for the same day. His team's 11-0 and the first undefeated Gettysburg Midget Football mid- varisty team since 1984. There has been teams other years to win the league title, but not undefeated. Keegan's been playing there 5 years and it's his last in the league (due to age/grade) so it's bitter sweet to think it's his last week.

Sunday we are going to finally make it to Costco/Sams Club for some stocking up on things we need.

I hope you all have a great weekend,

Danielle

What are your plans for the weekend folks ??

Us.......well I've got a couple of hours me time tomorrow afternoon as Paul and the boys are going to a football match, it's a huge game Arsenal v Manchester United. I'm going to have my nails done whilst they're at football. I don't have many vices...well apart from handbags and shoes but they don't really count do they :confused3 :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 but getting my nails done is one of them.

On Saturday night if the weather is not too bad we are going to Alexander Palace for their Bonfire Night fireworks display. They normally make it into quite an event and this year they've got a Bierfest going on and the tribute act Queen on Fire so it should be a good evening.

Sunday it's back to the normal routine as the school half term holiday as over so it's an early start to get the boys to Cheder (Hebrew school) and then the weekly grocery shop and hopefully home about 2pm. Then it's homework and a little bit of downtime before Josh goes to a barmitzvah party and we get ready to start all over again on Monday.

Hummmmmm put like that it look busier than I thought :scared1: :scared1:
Well we're heading to the Jersey shore tonight, it's our home away from home and we see the Rents while we're there...........:cloud9:

Yes, I can't complement Disney enough on their Med excursions. We did one of theirs at every port. I can't think of one problem or complaint. Their excursion to Monaco and Monte Carlo was wonderful. We also did Eze which is a wonderful village - it was one of our favorites! So if you do have the chance again, don't miss it.

I am kind of wondering how I can do a land tour of Italy at this point........

Where are you going on the Jersey Shore? My sister lives in Little Egg Harbor, NJ. We love visiting her there and the boys can never get enough of the boardwalks.

Hope the casinos are good to you. :yay:
I had gotten some free nights at Taj Mahal but I don't think I can take advantage of them. DD loves the pool there, just wish it stayed open later.

I plan to do as little as possible that involves my brain working as I can, spent most of today at the lawyer's office and my brain hurts. :faint: So I'm thinking tomorrow DD & I will go stimulate the economy and head to the mall for a while.

My Rents (parents) live in Brigantine, NJ, which is outside Atlantic City, NJ......so we go there a lot.............
