Thanks for posting this. That will be a great system to use.
I hope you will be able to buy a cd of your pics like you can at WDW.

I can see using your stateroom tv to view the pics.
We did like the stateroom interactive on Carnival. It was nice to view our bill and not waste paper, view the upcoming menus, and look over the available excursions. That was the best thing about Carnival. :confused3

Yes I would like to see them fully implement it like other cruise lines, asap

Andrew, we will be flying into MCO on the 12th too. We can't book the bounceback until April so I'm really hoping we will get in on the 8/13 sailing, which is the first date you can book the bounceback cruise through December. We are sailing on the Magic in December 2009 so I didn't want to sail too close to December plus we already have AKV reserved for 9 days in August.

Thanks for posting the photopass information. It will be great to have onboard next month when we sail on 12/7. I wonder if they'll let us preorder the CD's for $110 or whatever it is they are charging now for the CD in the parks.

Your trip/trips sound good. In 09 I do Contempary first then the Eastern 7 night cruise with Tortola, and then have a villa to the South of WDW.

Photopass will be great more details being added to that thread,

We are doing the Eastern to St. Croix in December. I think we're going to do the dolphin excursion they offer to Tortola on that trip.

I can't believe the thread is so quiet tonight! I may even have time to go back and read a bunch of pages I missed.

Keegan's team won their game 26-0 today so they'll continue to play at least until next weekend in the semi -finals. I'm not sure how they're going to practice with the clock going back and the sky being dark at 5:30 when practice starts. They do not have lights on their field so they'll probably have to practice on the baseball fields nearby. It's a shame, but we just heard yesterday that the Gettysburg recreation parks ran out of money and will have to sell their land. I'm not sure where the kids will play football next year. With all the Civil War tourism and Ghost walk tourism we get you think they could just tax the tourism companies a couple of cents per dollar and it would rake in thousands to help pay for the sport fields, playgrounds and skateboard park.

Hey I'm back!! We had a family dinner and the weather around here was beautiful! All the girls came home!

We're booked for the July 18th Tortola cruise next summer!!

Ok, another Halloween has past........we saw about 70 trick or treaters....fun night, fog, treats and fantastic lawn ornaments!!!:thumbsup2

Had we been home instead of the football game we would have had close to 200! It was a cold night!

I hope everyone had a nice Halloween. We had a little party with a few friends of each of our boys before trick or treating. It was a beautiful night weather wise after having such a chilly week.

Keegan (DS11) has his first play off game today for football. They play until they lose or win it all over the next few weekends. Wrestling starts Nov 17 so we won't be getting a sports break this year.

What part of PA are you in? We lost in football playoffs last weekend and wrestling has started, We do a lot of PA meets. Sports never end around here!

We went ahead and booked a 4 day Wonder trip on 2/1/09 and will bounceback for $99 on the 8/13/09 3 day Wonder cruise. We just couldn't pass up the deal, especially with having 2 free Southwest Airlines tickets we earned and nights at a Marriot on points we've earned.

RJAYL--your house was AWESOME!!! Until I saw yours, I thought ours looked cool with 1 full size pirate and some light up pumpkins!

They always have the Banfi inside the wine shop in Italy, I think it runs about $7. a glass.
In the wine shop in Germany they have a really good and refreshing drink, it's sparkling wine with strawberry puree added.
At the Rose & Crown you will have to try a Welsh Dragon, yum yum. Then the other drink I get there is the (hard) cider and Ribena, that's good on a hot day.
Of course in France the drink of choice is a kir royale.

Can you tell that I've unofficially completed a 'drink around the world' course?!?

I appreciate your "Drink Around The World Course" I think I will try that part II coming up!

Just thought you would appreciate that as I am packing for Tuesday and I know I am packing too much, but I can't help it---dh says put every other outfit back in your closet. I told him if I did every other day I would have to go naked!:rotfl2: . I don't think he thought I was too funny!

Well, one more load of :laundy: and this chick is done! Twelve days of someone else to cook, clean take care of everything! , There's nothing like a vacation!

Have a good rest of the weekend and enjoy your extra hour!:cloud9:

Wow......I have been gone for almost 10 hours and only missed 4 posts, this has got to be a record for this thread. :confused3
DD & I went to a retirement party tonight.

Please do me proud and at least give it a good shot. You might want to leave out the part of sitting in Germany for 5 hours listening to the band while enjoying the drinks. :dance3: It really makes it hard to see the rest of the parks if that happens. :dance3:

Leave out just a quarter of your clothes that way you only have to go naked every 4th day. :rotfl2:
Enjoy being looked after for 12 days. :yay:

It is a record...I just looked up and saw what time it was. I better be heading to bed. It takes my sleeping pill one hour to work....I can be the official time changer at the official time!:)

Maybe every 4th day could be bathing suit day!:rotfl: . The only problem with that is that I have to order room service....no bathing suits in the dining room....hey, but then there are those Mickey Bars at room service. This is sounding better and better!:surfweb:

That's a great idea. More reasons for Mickey bars. :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

My dogs were both in skeleton costumes all day, and it was fun walking them yesterday!

BTW< we will gladly accept your candy but unfortunately we are on the other side of the continent . . .:lmao: Around here, Ronald McDonald houses for families of kids with cancer accept excess candy and give it out to kids, so you might look into that if you have a lot left over. My kids always sort through what they get, make a small bag of what the really want, and we deliver the rest to the Ronald mcDonald house near Cornell-Weill Medical Center about 12 blocks away.

:thumbsup2 Sounds like a good idea - there's one about 20 miles away but that canbe done in 20 minutes during the workweek - mostly freeway. But what a grand idea!

The Californians gave out in this order: Sun Chips, Sugar pop singles, candy, play-doh for the young ones. Glow in the dark bracelets for the big ones and 1-3 pieces of candy which included: Almond Joys, Hersheys, Charleston Chews, Starburst, Baby Ruth, Laffy Taffy, Kit Kat - white chocolate, dark chocolate and milk chocolate, Mr. Goodbar, skittles, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and pieces, Nestle Crunch and Halloween Popcorn singles.

This sounds like a plan for next year to me! I never thought about giving chips etc. (My sister suggested it to me as she has a toddler she doesn't like to give lots of chocolate too. I bought the singles packages and gave them out to little babies such as 6 months to 1 year. 2-8 got play-dog and some in-betweeners got the glow sticks - seems to have been a hit )

I almost passed out in front of her due to overexertion and was rushed to the hospital - They lost my pulse.

OMG this is my nightmare--ever watch the Biggest Loser? I am amazed that more of them are not taken to the hospital with the exertion in the last chance work out. Are you ok now though? No lasting problems?

Not really but I do have to wear a heart monitor when I work out and I listen to my pulse - if it hits 162 I'm ok - but if it hits 163 watch out - I need to lie down ASAP! She (trainer) said that she got scared because my face turned white and my lips turned blue and my eyes went back into my head. I was ok except for the nausous feeling - I hate the thought of loosing it in front of people. Give me the heebie jeebies. :sad2:

I even stayed out on the porch until 9:45 in the hopes of some latecomers.[

We did this too--we ended up with about 65 kids. PLENTY of Candy left over. Does your Mom still need some?

Probably - between her the the grandkids - it will be gone. :rotfl:

We had a nice Halloween, about 75 kids came which is a little less than usual......we have the big lawn decorations so people know we're giving out candy. My end of the street has mostly moved away so there's not a lot of young kids anymore. It was still fun to see some of the costumes and interact with the teenagers. We "fog" them as they're ringing the doorbell, so there's a "trick" and "treat" at my house!!:thumbsup2 :rotfl:[/QUOTE]

I didn't decorate this year I usually put up a Mickey Vampire but the fan blew the dust last year. This year the economy has seem to hit very hard. Many people DID NOT decorate and the houses were few and far between. As my house stand out - people were able to see that I was on the porch but still didn't get that much. Maybe next year. Maybe I started a tradition - lets hope. :)

Don't forget folks that transatlanitc flight prices GO UP as it get closer to the flight date NOT down as internal flight do.....so you really need to book your flights at the 11 month out mark which is when they will be at the cheapest.

I will certainly keep that in mind this year thanks for the reminder.

Just popping in to say hello. We went up to see the new visitor's center at Rainier today. Very impressive.

Great news about the PhotoPass.

Anybody hear if the PhotoPass will also become available on the Wonder? Caro & I have a 4 day in May for our anniversary.
