Been playing with my new ipod touch today. I have DD putting more cd's onto itunes so they can be added on. Added a few games to keep me occupied on flights.

Neat present! The itouches really are cool- no other word for them! It'll be great to have on the cruise- all the different Aps you can get are neat too- currency converters, foreign GPS in case you get lost in Tallin, where's the closest bank, rest room, etc!

Merry Belated Christmas everyone!! I hope everyone is having a fun and relaxing holiday week- (I'm back to work tomorrow, but at least there's another long weekend with New Year's....)

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. I can't believe that all our snow is gone as it rained like crazy, enough to wash away 14" of snow! Today is warm and clear - off to DD's to get together with family. Can't complain as I get to see my DGD Shannon. She is really a cutie!

I know how excited you are anytime you get to visit that beautiful DGD. I expect to see lots of pictures! We are enjoying a sunny day in the south today. Can't say that I have missed the snow, but I am sure there will be plenty more of winter after I get home next week!

I would have gladly traded you the rain for our snow. We had drifts taller than my daughter and we got stuck 3 times trying to get to my parents who live 6 blocks away.

I can't believe I missed the Dr. Who specials. I hope they are repeating Waters of Mars and Part 1 since my DVR decided to ignore them even though I have the Dr. Who season pass set up.

We had the snow the weekend before Christmas and rain the weekend after, with tons of snow on the ground in between. So we got the worst of both.

Andrew I have noticed this cruise has gone up a lot since the majority of us booked and since I rebooked it this past summer. Even tho it's full now, I wonder how many cancellations will be done just before final pay't is due in March?

Now to start working on flights, again.

As its expensive, with flights I am sure we will see cancellations, but this cruise will sail full, they have even stopped selling GTY on some Cat levels which is a good indication they are bursting at the seems.

Prices are far higher, the Cats I posted above are only a little bit shy of my Cat 3 price.

Remember with our Mediterranean Cruise there was a drop off of people when the final payment came due and a lot of people changed catagories.

Did that include the fuel surcharge I think we have all had included? We are cat11 and this price is pretty much identical to ours booked on day 1, but we had a 10% onboard discount, but without it this is what it would workout at. I think this may exclude the fuel surcharge which admittedly we may only get back as OBC, if at all. Has anyone been watching the fuel prices recently?

DCL is not charging the fuel surcharge anymore, that was stopped the end of Nov. 2008. My TA was able to reshop our cruise in Dec. '08 and got the surcharge dropped and then we rebooked the cruise the past summer to get the 10% discount and OBC.
I read on here the fuel price on 12/18/09 was over $74/barrel so those with first quarter '10 fuel surcharges will not be getting a FS refund or OBC.
