:cold:Good Morning All :cold:
:goodvibesBest wishes for a speedy recovery & good results Laurie:goodvibes

BRRRRRR!!!! It's 21 degrees out and the wind is blowing!

Hey - 14 degrees WARMER than it was here this morning while I was shovelling

Good luck with your surgery MrsScooby.

Happy Monday everyone! Time to :surfweb:!

It's warmed up to a balmy 27 degrees. As the weatherman said, it's a "dry" cold, so no signs of snow.

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: A dry cold......he can say that since he's indoors.
We are up to 41, but it looks like it could snow and it's definately NOT a dry cold.

Hi everyone . . . yes we had snow Saturday night as well and it's been cold since.

I hope Darren (Laurie's husband) checks in with us here later and lets us know that her surgery went well:flower3:

It's a balmy 50 degrees here in not so sunny CA. We are having lots of rain. We need it though. They are having quite a bit of snow in the local mountains too. (About an hour an a half north east of us).
On another note. I just got home from the doctor and I have another week of no weight on my foot ahead of me. I would not make a good invalid!:rotfl: I so am ready to get up and moving.

Sounds like we all need to go someplace sunny and warm. :woohoo:
Good luck with the foot and do everything the doc tells you to, you need your foot to be in great shape for this cruise.

Laurie - I hope the surgery went well

Andrew - did you see that WDW has twinned itself with Swindon - the land of the Magic Roundabout! :rotfl: The news report said there will be something in Epcot next year on it:rotfl2:I'm guessing none of the top Disney execs have actually been (although I can't knock the outlet mall)

STill suffering with jetlag but have no time to suffer - Hermione needed me to complete her Mary outfit, Lauren wants a Dorothy outfit for their Xmas lunch as the theme is Wizard of Oz (at least her summer uniform was blue gingham, but now she'll need new summer dresses). I have my MRI on Thursday & my mock bookkeeping exam next week:scared1:

I'll try & surf backwards to see what I missed last week (not the weather, obviously!)

Celestine

NOW ALL

HELP REQUIRED....

MED 2011/ SUMMER 2011.

My TA says DCL still will not confirm anything, but if they did change the cruise days/ports, then they will not hold me to the Non refundable Suite deposit.

Anyone have any ideas for me?

Stuck to August 2011, from very late July onwards.

Can go before 7/30 re school DD has exams. So cant swap to 10 night previous.

Do not like 7 night Med cruise. if only Italian ports, wanted Malta, Tunis, and Corsica.

DREAM, thought about it, 5 night and 4 night B2B in early August, but do not like Nassau, and recent incidents put me off further, and that would mean two stops there. Plus Airfare and trying to avoid long flights.

Alaska, thought about it, but long flights again, thought about a paring with New York, but do not like the way DCL has done the ports and days, and imho other cruise lines do it better for less.

I think I will have to drop DCL, don't want to, but cant see options.

Even thought about Easter 2011 7 night or two 7 night Caribbeans, Western have done 3 times, Eastern keep missing with DCL re weather.

??????????????????

Well, I do recall the kids wanted to see Australia. It's a very long flight, but two things to keep in mind:

Australia has a very nice rail system if you don't want to fly everywhere within the country.

There are some very nice smaller cruises like these: http://www.coralprincess.com.au/

A 50-75 passenger vessel is a very different experience, but the level of personal service can't be matched by even Disney.

Andrew

Australia is a beautiful country as I travelled three times as I have family live there...

but 2 weeks not enough, need more than 2 weeks like 3-4 weeks for Australia as long journey. but it is worthing to visit it.... I want go back in 2011 but sadly my husband is not keen on it... One day we will be back to Australia...

I am so sorry that Disney Cruise suspended abour your cruise for 2011 which sound not very nice... as they will refund to your deposit too?

They aren't a backwards country. Your Good Morning All should be upside down, that would be more appropriate.
Now for you to figure out how to post it upside down, a challenge for you. :upsidedow
