We've gone from rain all morning to *$#&$^ SNOW!!!!! I really can't stand late fall and winter, I need to move to northeast Australia where there is no snow!

Last Sunday we had very localised Snow and hail for an hour, but now today the offical word is 'dank'.

my cochlear implant surgery is Monday morning 7 am

I should be home Monday night if everything goes well.

trying to keep busy in the mean time so I don't think about it too much.

I have plenty of books to read and dvds from netflix, mostly worried about the 90 minute plus drive home in rush hour traffic DH is not a gentle driver

My local shops and market was very very busy today, and Oxford St was said to take £200 million on sales on Saturday.

And my arm hurts after getting a standard Flue jab on Saturday; getting H1N1 jab next week.

Scottishwee-I think it might be harder when it is your child going for surgery My son has had several minor surgeries over the years (adenoids and stuff like that) and I was way more nervous then.

I'll ask Darren to post here tomorrow to let you all know when I get home

Yes, it was harder for us when our daughter went throught the operation, I almost pull her out... and hospital offer us another implant cochlear on another side for my daughter, we don't think we go through again... but daughter said no... she is happy with one...
