I don't think I mentioned here I was having food surgery on the 18th of November. I had to have a bunionectomy but it was a bit more extensive and the doctor had to do some repair work to the next toe too. I had a dream about a nurse telling me she was going to put a cute little cap on a pin sticking out of my second toe to keep it from catching on the bandages. When I went in for my first post op, I learned that wasn't a dream!! I realized I got home without asking the doctor how exactly that pin comes out.
This past Monday I finally got up the nerve to ask and apparently he just pulls it out in another couple of weeks.
I've been sitting around with my foot propped up for over two weeks now and I'm really going stir crazy. My younger daughter, who btw just lost her job yesterday, is coming by today to start decorating for me. I get to sit and point!
I have all this time I wish they would have posted the excursions so I could do research. I need something fun to do....
