Quick hello to all!

So sorry about your leg Celestine. You might want to think about getting one of those electric scooters to get around the parks. I can't imagine doing that on crutches.

Been really busy helping out DD and getting to know our DGD . Today is the first day we won't be over there, but we are off to the inlaws for the afternoon. I almost can't wait to get back to school tomorrow! :confused3

Hi :thumbsup2

Slight change of subject, working on the release of transatlantic shore trips, then Med ones at the end of last week, Blatic ones would be out first week in January.

Happy Last Day of November!
DS has Hockey tryouts today!

Hi everyone, DD & I are back from FL and it was only partially a good trip. Had a friend stay for the weekend we got down there and had a great time getting caught up and doing lots of shopping and park hopping. Got to take friends to the port on Sat. and pick them up this past Sat. so it was painful to see the Magic and then quickly drive away.
Monday afternoon went out to the car to go get DD's FL ID and the car tagged in FL and it won't start. :sad2: Call AAA and they send out a tech who can't do a darn thing to it and then have to wait another hour for the rollback and then he works on it for a bit before loading it on the truck to haul it away to the dealer down there. So that shoots that day, no ID for DD and no FL tags for the car. Good thing the friends are on a cruise so I have a car to drive for the week.
Tuesday is mostly spent on the phone between the dealer and DH trying to find out the problem. Dealer down there is clueless :headache: . DH ends up calling dealer up here to see if he knows the problem, which he does, and also get the Land Rover customer service number. Dealer still has no clue as of Tues. so we go to Epcot late afternoon to drink and eat away the sorrows of no car. Wed. we wake up to loads of rain and to find out the car needs a new engine :headache: . More calls to dealer in DE and FL and customer service, and a trip to the dealer to get things out of the car that need to be at the house. Go shopping after that ordeal for some b'day presents for DH and to buy wine :drinking1 .
Turkey Day was good, a couple of hours at Epcot and then dinner with friends and lots of laughter and wine :drinking1 .
Friday it was only a high of 64 and we left Epcot about 7:30 since it had dropped to 48. Way too cold when you are wearing sandals and a light jacket.

All in all it was fun for the fun parts of the week and stressful for the car worries.

Got home in time for my brother's Christmas light display to be officially on and to meet up with old friends. Hopefully he'll post a video so I can share the link with everyone.

Getting caught up here finally since I was awol from DIS all week.

Hope everyone had a great holiday/weekend.

Have a few questions for the experienced cruisers. Does DCL allow you to use the Disney Reward Points for excursions?

I read on another thread that you have to apply Disney Dollars to your account at the beginning of the cruise in order to use them. (Glad I read about that. I'm such a rookie at cruising.) The thread mentioned a card, KWW?...something. Is this like the room key where you charge everything to?

I was looking through a picture thread yesterday on the main cruise board. Man was that great. This ship is SOOO beautiful. Highly suggest a quick peek for anyone needing a little pick-me-up. Also picked up some ideas for pics I want to take.

Thanks in advance for the help,
Flora
Yes your Reward Points can be used towards excursions (and everything else charged) since they are posted to your Key To The World card (stateroom account). You will need to transfer your Rewards Points to a Rewards Card and that is what you will give to Guest Services to have the proper dollar amount credited to your stateroom account.

I believe Andrew posted that everything on the ship will get charged to your KTTW card, no cash or credit cards exchange hands on the ship at the bars and shops.

Hate car troubles:sad2:
And you're right-trying to solve them from a distance is even more frustrating-(Still remember getting stranded in Philly back in 1988:eek:).

Good that there was fun to be had anyway:goodvibes
Love Epcot:thumbsup2
