Please include us in the postcard exchange too.

If I can't find any good postcards for Albuquerque is it O.K. if I bring some from Santa Fe? It is only 45 miles from us and more interesting to most people than Albuquerque (with the exception of the Balloon Fiesta that is held here every October).

Thanks for all of the great information and advice everyone! I am sure that I will be asking more as time goes on. We are so very excited I can't stop thinking about it every day.

My DD is so excited to be going to London! At her school they celebrated International Children's day the last week of October. They were asked to pick a country they are interested in to represent. When I asked her what country she wanted to pick her answer was "London". So after trying to explain that London is not a country but is a city we decided on England. She made the flag of the country for their parade, dressed up as a queen (it is very hard to find English costumes here) and then we made an apple crumble to share with her class. It all turned out great. It is so cute to see all of the children dressed from other countries. One child dressed as a Transformer.....what country do you think he was from?

Monica

London is a fabulous place to visit for Kids and adults, but akin to WDW, as there is so much to do, you must plan plan plan, and be very organized.

Know what you want to do, book it where you can, know where it is, so you have a route, and don't bounce around, and don't forget budget, and thoose free things museums, or when you have a travel-card thoose bus and train journeys where you can sight-see for free.

London eye
Tower of London
Buckingham Palace (if open book)
Madame Tussuad's
The Parks Hyde, Green, St James. Regents inc Zoo.
Stratford, Olympics development
DLR Docklands light railway- Docklands, Greenwich, Woolwich.
Hampton court
Windsor.
Shops, Regent St, Oxford st, and Westfield.

Temecula, our next door neighbor town is also famous for it's Balloon Festival. Between that and it's wineries will have to be my choices for postcards.

Monica, I added you to the lists for FE and postcard exchange on the first post:thumbsup2

Besides MaryAnn and myself who else was on a brunch list from over a year ago?

I know we were on a brunch list, I believe it was Mike's.

Julie, will you please add us to the postcard exchange list! One thing I remember from our PC repo postcard exchange was punching a hole in one of the corners of the postcards. Someone supplied rings for us to hold all the postcards together. It worked out great! We just all have to punch the same corner or they get all wonky!

My vote is upper left, if at all.

Will do!

I vote no hole in the postcards, let anyone who wants one punched in it to get it done themselves at guest services or when they get home.

Good evening all...

Herd of 'Hole in the wall' but postcards??;)

Anyway news from DCL for thoose boozers, who like Wine, i asked them about the wine package and the answer was we cannot do it, it must match the cruise length ie 3/4/7 night packages, pity they didn't want my $$$$

I was thinking that too . . .

Julie are you 1 or 2 for brunch?

Well, I will actually have an 18 year old on this cruise! Arrrgh, how did I become the parent of semi-grown people?:lmao: However, I doubt she would want to hang out at Palo with a bunch of my friends, so let's call it one for brunch and I'll go there with her on our own for dinner . . .

Andrew you should have told them it was the same as three 4 day cruises. :rotfl2: :rotfl:
Do they usually offer a wine package on the longer cruises?

Don't tell them that its more expensive, Now I am sure I got one 7 night one for the Panama 14 night in 07, but cant remember exactly, I know i have had it a few times.

The Wine package does give you a good discount if you intend to drink each night, we did it in August.

Its silly for them really there are a lot of up coming longer cruises, 8,10,11,12 etc, so you would think they would do something, ah well there is always TESCO's and the verandah!

***DCL do not read my above message about charging Andrew for three 4 night wine packages*** :rotfl2:

Andrew next time you are in Tesco looking at wine, can you tell me if there are any Australian Rieslings available? I'd give you the name of the one I'm looking for but can't remember it off the top of my head. Thanks so much
