:grouphug: You're welcome. Now we just hope that DCL doesn't try and pull the same trick that Carnival tried to pull on us and only want to let the cruisers off that booked their tours. They wanted everyone else to wait until all their tour passengers were off before they would begin to let everyone else off the ship. It turned into a madhouse of 3400 people wanting off the ship.

That sounds awful! So what ended up happening... did you end up having to wait?

Do you think it will be easier the 2nd day, since we will already be in port so there won't be a rush of people at any particular time? We are planning to do a 7:30am private tour on the 2nd day, (planning to go with one of DCL's excursions on day 1)....

First of all, I want to thank you for the warm welcome and to tell you how much I appreciate your help! Celestine did get in touch with me and we are all set up with the Ballyhoo Bus! In fact, I understand from Paul that we will be meeting up with JillJill and SamanthasMom at one of the bus pick-up points. Now I can't wait to check out all the links that I saw on the first page of the posts.
JillJill, I will get back to you with our info so you can add it to the first page and in answer to MrsScooby's question, this will be our 7th Cruise on the Magic. We have done two Eastern, two Western, one California Mexican Riveria, and the glorious 11-day Med cruise in July 2007!
I am going to close now, so I can start reading the posts from the beginning. I'm looking forward to "talking" to you as we count down the days!
Jan

Scottishwee35, I just noticed your ticker. Did you cancel our cruise and do a Dover reposition? Did I miss this?

Hopefully Andrew will realize that we miss him and want him back!

Hello, Everyone:

We just booked our cruise and will be joining you all on 7/18. My husband cannot get away from work, so just two of my kids and I are going. DD will be 21, DS will be 17. This will be our 7th Disney cruise. We previously did the Med and the 1st Panama Canal cruise. We once took another cruise line to Alaska, and can honestly say that Disney is the best.

We are spending some additional time in Paris, London, and DLP. We figure for the cost of airfare, better do as much as we can! We hail from southeastern PA. I am a former pediatric nurse, now a stay-at-home mom and babysitting grandmom who breeds Havanese dogs in my spare time. DD is a student nurse, and DS is a junior in HS. Hope to meet you all!

Phyllis

Welcome! DH and I will be with our DD21 and DS18, similar ages!

DD21 already has two friends on board she knows from previous cruisers, so I think that the young adult group will have fun!

Does anyone know where the ship will dock at each port and if any stop requires tendering? If we get back from our excursions with time to spare, we're trying to see if we can do some quick siteseeing at some ports within walking distance of the ship.

Welcome Phyllis and family.
If you want your info listed in the first post just send me a PM and I'll get it added as soon as I can.

Just a quick fly-by post this evening. Heading to WDW in the morning for the week. Not sure that I'll check in all that often during the week since my computer down there is soooo sloooowww.

Happy Easter and Happy Spring Break to all celebrating.

There shouldn't be any tendering at any of the ports.
There's a website that lists where ships will dock but I don't know if I have it bookmarked on my computer in FL, I'll have to see if it's there. Maybe if you ask this question on the main boards, on the Baltics Tips & Planning thread, someone else may know the website before I have a chance to look it up.

We cancel the Baltic for 6 July which is a great shame... and we cannot afford it so we are happy with 8 days from Dover to Barcelona better than nothing...

I remember you as you were on Med 07 after our cruise... you were on cruise with Andrew, and Helen from UK...

anyway, I enjoyed this forum and wish I won the lottery then we come along join in...

at the moment, our in law cannot afford it so they are coming with us to europe...

never mind we will be back to Baltic when just two of us in one day:love:

Have a wonderful time, Barb! WDW at this time of year is our favorite. The weather is wonderful!
