Does that mean I am going?

Of course you are, Andrew. We'd be heartbroken if you didn't. :flower3:

Happy Belated B'day Barb!

Morning all! First day of school for my girls and the "last first" for my oldest who is starting her senior year!:sad2:

That is annoying -- you would think there would be a way to get around this, but maybe not . . .

I kept meaning to tell you that I really enjoyed looking at your trip report:thumbsup2

Yes its annoying the surprise is the level of it I knew for a while it was happening but the photobucket stat's are a total surprise, they do list the websites accessing it, and so I know where some of these are going.

I could cancel the account that would leave a lot of blanks, but do not wish to do that, I could mark text on them ANDREW DEREK UK that might embrass some but they might just cover that over. Its the taking without permission that annoys. Even the monorail you can get it for free, on photobucket so why link it through mine?

WELCOME!!

Today was my kids second day of school. Kelly is now in middle school and her first time taking the school bus from our neighborhood. I refrained from embarrasing her too much yesterday...took her picture getting on the bus on the second day of school instead of the first:goodvibes

Senior year is so exciting though:cool1:
Does your DD know what she wants to do after high school?
Will she stay close by or travel?
So many decisions made this year.

She wants to go to college in the UK, so no staying close to home for her!:scared1::laughing:

Is she thinking of Oxford, then? I think you said she liked it when you visited.

I've been told in no uncertain terms that this is her process, so I generally try not to chat too much about her choices!:rotfl2: I'll let you know once it's all over, I guess!

Check out the new Castaway Club section of the DCL website! It shows every cruise you have taken, the cabin number, your level of membership, benefits, and even links to upcoming reservations -- pretty cool:cool1:

Yes looking at that, very disappointed its just by cruise, you would think that the Panama's would contribute as 2 cruises, so someone who has been 18 days on the Wonder and paid for that, is the same as someone who has been on the Magic for 60 days!!!

I cant see the advantage of booking a suite now as people can book in advance or at the same day as it now. I think they will loose suite bookings more.

Might note I have exceeded my photobucket account!!!!

What dates?

Yes:headache:
After the Baltic:sad2: of course if it was calculared by family unit's or suite's counted 2 times I would be a platinum member!:sad2:

I do not know dates, never do, of course this time tomorrow I could have egg all over my face, but I think it will be something like:-

Westbound repo,
then
  • 7 night Mexican Riviera cruises, then
  • Hawaii 12/14 night cruises, then
  • 7 night Mexican Rivera cruises,

A bit like 2010 with the Baltic and the Med being on either side, I am not sure whats the best season to cruise Hawaii, but they will time it around that, would that be May June? (Baltic was easy its only go a limited time when its good to cruise)

I think if they leave the CC levels as they are 2010 is my last DCL cruise.

I paid for a product that includeds being able to book first, they have taken that away now, I am joint second with all of the other Gold members who mayhave paid far less, and may have cruised far less than 60 days on the DCL ships.

I have contacted the powers that be, with 'feedback'.

You have me beat!:lmao:

My only belief is that suite bookings are still a whole other animal!

And i have only sailed DCL in Suite's! (It is actually cost effective for 6 on Disney (currently))

I have all my waitlists in, time will tell!:headache::dance3::rolleyes1

I went on 3 cruises in the last 12 months EB Repo DCL (20K & that was a bargain!), Western on RC Liberty In the Royal Presidential (for 11K) & Western with Belize on Carnival 3 staterooms all ocean view (could not get 2 connecting balcony's) 7K

Actually I just booked a NCL cruise on the Epic for April vacation 2011
it looks interesting! I booked a penthouse suite (for 2) with a connecting balcony for my little ones & a inside stateroom across the hall for the teens!
Less than 10K (with private courtyard, Concierge & Butler privileges!) you have to wonder about DCL pricing?:headache::scared1:

I was thinking europe on NCL for summer 2011 but will have to reconsider if DCL does Hawaii!

If i did not have to hang around for my DS Hockey in the Winter I could cruise over Christmans & for February school break as well!:sad2:

Oh well we can do this when he is off too college in a couple of years!:dance3::sick:

I do not believe you Andrew as Arnold would say YOULL BE BAAACKK!;):rotfl:

So will I providing the pricing does not get any crazier, I do want to see the Renovations to Castaway Key!:thumbsup2

Gotta fly oldest DD has a Volley Ball game at school at 4!:cheer2:

Even my daughters thought it was strange that someone who has cruised on 3 or 4 night cruises 7 times were considered equivalent to us, when some of our cruises have been 11, 14, and 15 night cruises. On RCCL if your cruise is over 10 nights it counts as two credits and DCL could easily do that . . .

I am actually very annoyed about this, but one disser a DCL TA Has siad he checked with DCL today for his clients and Suite customers will book Palo and Shore trips, first at 120 days reguardless of their CC staus, yet to have that via my TA, also see the response form the bosses at DCL, as i send them a little 'feedback'.

But you would think they would explain this better not just put it up on the website, a personal email or letter, at times they can be ''stupid'' and forget who pays them a lot of $$$$$$$$$$.

I had honestly thought tonight, ''thats it'' no more, I will see what their response is.

PS, I do not like Hawaii, makes things a bit easier!!! I wouldnt cruise there!!!

Your daughters are far brighter than the person who thought this CC sheme up!! Its pure logic, looking after the customers who have cruised the most with you and 'days' is the easiest and simplest way to measure this,

Even if you say 14/15 night cruise is double that is fair!

You would be platinum wouldn't you?
