My favorite parade though is the old Main Street Electrical Parade. (I have the music on my ipod and have yet to listen to it without getting all misty-eyed)

Sounds like a trip to D'land and CA is in order for you to see the MSEP. I also love that parade, so much better than Spectromagic. I have a D'land MSEP t-shirt and it's one of my favorite's.

I was in the Thursday afternoon group. Did I see you?

Nope, we were in the Tuesday morning group - first one for the week.
We still haven't eaten our rice krispie treats, have you? Not sure I'm going to like all the coating on them which is why I haven't opened mine.

I ate it that night since I was staying at Port Orleans - wanted to keep the magic going. Very sweet, but better than I expected.

That's good to know. Now I know not to eat the whole thing in 1 sitting.

Wishing you lots of magic. :tink: I know you'll have a great time!!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Fireworks are awesome from there. It's like having your own private showing. I haven't seen Spectromagic in years. (I can't believe it's really been YEARS)

I agree its great, bsat the fireworks seem to come up over space mountain with the castle to the left, have to get them to move that.

What did you think of the place. Did you get to see any of the rooms?

They took us through a 2-story(!) Grand Villa on the 15th & 16th floors. Sleeps 12 I believe. Full kitchen and laundry room. Granite countertops.
Sliding interior doors, TV over the master bath, etc.
There is a members only lounge (not for mere guests -- must be guests AND DVC members). Has a lovely outside terrace where you can see just about everything, including MK. Speakers to hear the Park music with the fireworks. http://s836.photobucket.com/albums/zz281/KathyinCitrus/Bay%20Lake%20Tower%20preview/?albumview=grid
I think a lot of people signed up on the spot - very impressive.
Models of smaller units such as studios, 1- 2-bedroom units are on display at SSR.
There's still a lot of finish work to be done on the building right now - but I could see table lamps in all of the windows on the Park side.
Since I own there, I'll be there in 2010, after the Cruise (used all the points I could beg, borrow and uh ... you know, to pay for the Cruise).

I'M HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just really felt the need to tell all of you that. You may now proceed on with your every day lives!

My pool is quite nice! :cool1: I was hoping it was nicer up there. Hopefully it will cool down by next month! I am wanting to pack sweaters for the cruise.

Thinking of you..........I've been in air conditioning all summer........but today I visited my school (sauna) and know that in just a month, I'll be back to the unairconditioned h*** until the weather breaks, we had ferocious storms today so the humidity was ridulous............:grouphug:

Wow, I'm famous! I made the BBC news! ;)
It's 99 degrees outside and 97 degrees inside my building here at work.

Ugh, Caro, that is terrible:sad2: I am not a big fan of heat, unless I can be at a beach! I saw that Seattle set an all time record high today.

(Not to make you feel worse, but I will get to be in East Hampton tomorrow at a friend's place, featuring the beach and a pool:goodvibes)

That is just wrong to have to work in that heat. Tell them I said you could stay home until the temps get back to normal.:cool1:

Enjoy the a/c'd hotel and stay there until it's comfortable to go home. I know what it's like to not have a/c in a house and it's not fun, especially when trying to sleep.

The lights have been on it all the units facing MK for the last few weeks, if not months.....such a waste of money. Have no clue if they are on in the entire building.

I've been really busy lately. I started as a floater pharmacist 2 weeks ago. I had a class today on how to give immunizations. (Still not 100% sure that I actually want to do it though.) But my most exciting news is that I am going to be the pharmacy manager at a brand new Target store that will be opening in October. So I'll be back to working in the mall with my Disney Store.
