I've been searching houses online to look at next weekend and gathering info on the neighborhood and such.

Can't believe we dropped to page 2. :scared1:

Hey Barb -- I'm going to Opal's on 52nd Street for lunch today -- some nice person gave me a gift certificate:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Yes we have a nice spring day here, not too warm but better than the last few cold days, at one point on Wednesday night I was driving and suddendly we had a ice and hail storm my car was covered so was the road, and all traffic came to a stop.

The strange thing was it was local, as after not moving for 20 mins or so, we then all started up and just down the road it was dry and no snow or ice?

I am working on my new laptop DD Alice is on hers now and we have funally set up a Wiifi netwrok for the house, and she is happy as her ITouch works on it as well.

Weather can be abrupt like that -- thank goodness there wasn't an accident with sudden ice and hail:scared1:

Good morning! It's nice out right now, but we could see a little snow later today.
Kathryn's birthday party is this afternoon! She's having it at a gymnastics place!

I would say here in the UK, from what I remember we never seemed to get this sudden events, yes we have had hail, snow winds before, but not these local extremes, it was cold but sunny my car said 5c then it came down and the temp dropped to 0 in a minute or so.

We have had our coldest winter for 18 years+ now, hope with spring coming we are getting away from it, its sunny at 6am to 6pm now so looking good.

Enjoy your lunch and let me know now it was. :flower3:

I shall!:thumbsup2 I'll give you the run down on what we ordered as well:goodvibes We will leave around 12:30 or so . . .

Remember that climate change caused by human factors (better name than global warming) leads to more extremes, so not surprising, really.:sad2:

Reminder for all on this side of the pond...

...tonight is 'spring forward', don't forget to turn your clocks up 1 hour. Ugh...1 less hour of sleep tonight. :headache: :cloud9:

AND THIS SIDE, DO NOT DO IT TONIGHT...

Dont know why as we swap to months before longest night, but swap for Spring three months after it, think of all the extra fuel wasted. USA seems 'ahead' of us, well it will be.

OK

Think I have mastered this,

I have a new laptop.

Set up a WiiFi network,

All going well.

Now whats this button...

Thanks for the reminder, Barb --

Back from lunch -- it was very cozy. We had Angus burgers with fries for some and onion rings for others . . . I had a mimosa . . . and hot chocolate lava cakes for dessert! Yes, just like DCL! It was great, Barb -- thanks very much for the certificate.

Just had a 'crash' on it, WINDOW's came up saying there is an update, clicked ok and then after a small time crashed and had to restore, just bringing back stuff now.

Sorry to hear that, technology is always a "ride"..........GL with all that!

Julie I'm so glad that you enjoyed your lunch and it sounded very good. The funny thing about what you ordered, DD kept saying all afternoon she wanted a burger and fries for dinner but steak was already defrosted. She'll get her burger and fries tomorrow, glad you were able to enjoy them today. :thumbsup2

Joann sounds like you should have stayed home and enjoyed the record breaking temps here. I had a couple windows and doors open it was so nice.

Hi fellow cruisers!! It was a nice day here too. Sunny, :cool1: about 73. Really beautiful. We ran around a bit, had Mexican food for lunch, Went to BevMo and bought 5 bottles of wine. Not that we plan to drink them all tonight! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Tomorrow we are going to see our daughter in her new house. I thought we were going to be spending the weekend helping her move in, but they got in without us. So tomorrow we get to go see most of it put together without having to do the work.

Having fun with the new computer yet, Andrew?:surfweb:

Good ol' Windows. So... which laptop did you end up getting?

Nice. Hard to go wrong with HP.

Seems ok at the time for the price and what I will use it for, We have HP Printers etc already, so wasn't against the brand, but in the end it just met the needs.

It has a special function 'book Palo' one click and 3 ressies booked at 00:00:rotfl:(remote control, so I can stay in bed)
