Julie I'm so glad that you enjoyed your lunch and it sounded very good. The funny thing about what you ordered, DD kept saying all afternoon she wanted a burger and fries for dinner but steak was already defrosted. She'll get her burger and fries tomorrow, glad you were able to enjoy them today. :thumbsup2

They were very good burgers, too -- my middle daughter is a real burger expert and thought they were up in the top tier of her mental rankings! Hope Alexa enjoys her burger today:goodvibes Thanks again for the gift.

Joann sounds like you should have stayed home and enjoyed the record breaking temps here. I had a couple windows and doors open it was so nice.

I had windows open as well! My youngest and I took our dogs to the nearby dog run in Carl Schurz park later in the afternoon and it was so warm and pleasant, we couldn't believe it.

It has a special function 'book Palo' one click and 3 ressies booked at 00:00:rotfl:(remote control, so I can stay in bed)

You already had that, though, Andrew -- it's called concierge service!:rotfl2:

It's already happened, but just one more reminder for those in the US:

:lmao: You mean I paid for a new laptop for nothing??

Seems ok at the time for the price and what I will use it for, We have HP Printers etc already, so wasn't against the brand, but in the end it just met the needs.

Fun for the little ones!:cool1: :thumbsup2

The crazy weather continues! We have maybe 1/2" of snow on the ground, with more possible throughout today and tomorrow. I know it's not much, but it's MARCH!!!!!! :confused3

You have had more than your share of snow this winter. Very strange indeed. :confused3

We also bought a HP in January (desktop version). One month after getting it home and all updated, had a hard drive crash. So they sent me a new hard drive for me to install!! I took it to work and had 4 volunteers to install the hard drive. (The wonders of working in IT). It only took them 10 minutes to change out the drive and they had all the correct size tools.

Three hours later and Windows was reinstalled. Still working on installing all of the other programs from the old computer(again).

Did do the taxes this weekend.

I have had two 'crashes' since I started using it, both of them when the system said Windows has updates for you, I installed and then it crashed, I have restored my operating system and now installed after a Norton check.

Hopefully it will settle down.:surfweb:

Today was pretty nice, I got in my bike ride and then my "Rents" and I sat on the beach and had lunch, it was sunny but cooler on the beach..........still summer is finally coming closer...............can you believe it...........THERE WERE PEOPLE SURFING..............crazy!:confused3 :goodvibes

Hi fellow cruisers!! It was a nice day here too. Sunny, :cool1: about 73. Really beautiful. We ran around a bit, had Mexican food for lunch, Went to BevMo and bought 5 bottles of wine. Not that we plan to drink them all tonight! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Tomorrow we are going to see our daughter in her new house. I thought we were going to be spending the weekend helping her move in, but they got in without us. So tomorrow we get to go see most of it put together without having to do the work.

Having fun with the new computer yet, Andrew?:surfweb:

Hey, I THINK WE HAD THE SAME WEATHER THIS WEEKEND!!!

I've been gradually bringing up a new desktop machine. Built this one myself - it's been a while, but none of the machines I found had quite the right combination of features.

Windows? Settle down? What a peculiar concept.... :rolleyes1

Agree....I think the updates caused the issue, Now if this PC has been in store for a time in its box, then its getting a lot in one go, I looked at the list and it was very long, so a fix on a fix, might cause the crash.
