Per WebmasterAlex:

The boards will be shutting down at 10pm Eastern Time, tomorrow, Saturday March 21 for a major upgrade. I expect them to be down for 5 to 6 hours.


Maybe now the time will be right after the upgrade.

I have found it very slow recently, this new laptop is very fast on most of the big websites with an instant response but most times these boards take a while to load and now the photo threads take time to come up.

We are planning too. Just waiting for the new ship itineraries. Although DH wants to do the Adventures by Disney, Peru in 2011. It's not on my "bucket" list, but he is so wonderful with my Disney obsession that I'll agree to it ofcouse. Afterall, I'll go anywhere with the Mouse (oh, and DH, too,!)

Hey I am planning for 2011 vacations now!

With all this talk of 2011, I can tell you my plans for 2012.

I am going to the Olympics and watching them live!!!!!!

Three whole weeks of sport.

And can still come home each night by tube.

When our new stadium and Olympic village open locally, it will be one of my proudest moments of 2013!

I am going to get in 'early' before the Disbaords go down, whilst I know its for 10pm EST, I am going offline soon, and when I get up on Sunday they still will be down.

I do not know, I am thinking on going on 1 of those new RC Super Gigantic ships in April & on the Disney Dreams over Christmas & New Years!

I will be vacationing in April of 2010 at WDW in a Grand Villa at the New Bay Lake Towers!

At least those are the plans for now, I am still pondereing 2012 as my oldest will be in College & I wont have to deal with High School Hockey I can start going away in February again!

Yep, Barb and I are going on the May 10th 4 day Wonder cruise for Andrew and my 25th anniversary! It's also the Podcast cruise. We are spending the night before at the Dolphin. We get back the night of Thursday the 14th and then the next morning (7:00am flight) Andrew, Kathryn and I fly down to Disneyland. Alana is going to the same day with her HS band, they are in a festival at a HS near Disneyland. We're using DVC points to stay at the Grand Californian! We fly home Sunday.
It will be quite the Disney week!

For April 2010 are you going to be there anytime from 4/3-4/10? If so we'll have to plan a meet since we will be down then. I already have my ressies at Bonnet Creek for the week.


I haven't even started to think about 2011 and 2012 vacations. I think I would get in loads of trouble if I brought that up right now. I'm really thinking of going to western Canada or the Pacific Northwest since we aren't going there this summer.

I do like the idea of staying at Andrew's for the Olympic's. Wonder if we could switch off between Andrew's house and Izzi's house so neither one have too many people at a time?!?
