:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc it! May we use it if need be? Will do! :rotfl: See Julie, you'll be helping out two very stressed out mother.
Also Am debating on booking a cruise for the 1st weeked in December. Heard tell that the rates are really cheap just before the season changes to high.
Thanks JoAnn. I didn't realize that. Did hear a girl on a video say something that it worked out better for her to declare undecided but she didn't say why. Now I can pass this on to April. Thanks a million.

(Read in DRY TONE)

Yes, Parents,

Please remember who you are booking these for. If we could remember that, we'd be so much better off.

;)

(I'm just as guilty, all along I thought I was booking these for me. :rotfl2:)

For the kids of course?

I asked DD if she wanted deck 6 or 7 for this cruise, and she looked at me like I was totally bonkers for asking her and she said, "deck 7, duh, it's closer to the ice cream". Silly me...what was I thinking?!? :headache:

We'll be right off the aft elevators for Baltic (2066) and Alaska (7066). Shoot right on up and we''l have the drink station or ice cream!

Barb, forgot to mention that my oldest, Megan is at Cal State Northridge doing early childhood development. She is really very sweet and patient - where she got that from I have no clue but she really has a knack with teenagers. ;) I tell her its because she's their size and they think she's one of them. I bought her a t-shirt that says - I'm not short - I'm fun-size! :rotfl:

I tried suggesting teenagers but she says she doesn't like the drama. I told her - welcome to the adult world! :lmao:

We are hoping that we only got 2 years there. She transferred from a Jr college. They had a great entry program. She tried going to a Cal State right out of high school but it didn't work for her and when she transferred back to the Jr college some counselor mistakenly told her the classes she took would not be credited. She believed him and didn't check with someone else and when she "graduated" from the Jr college, turns out all the classes she took were credited. She lost a year but in her case, I think it worked out for the better as she helped me a lot when April was going to confirmation classes.

She already knew from high school what she wanted and other than the standard, mom - I need a credit card, she did it all on her own. SNIFF. She left me out of it. So I guess I'm going to take full advantage of this one as she's my last. But I'll keep you in mind.

On Saturday, we went to the grand opening of the College Counselling fair at her school. We showed up 1 one hr late and ended up winning the biggest raffle basket there. WOO HOO :woohoo: I never win. Course, all the gifts inside were April's size (like the t-shirt, sweatshirt, tank top, etc.) although I did get to keep the bag of coffee beans. :rotfl2: Anyone want some coffee beans for free? I got those one cup coffee maker.

Anyway, my point to all this, sometimes, they already know what they are meant to do. April? She's still pouring over the 3 inch thick book of college majors. She's scribbling furiously on a notepad I bought her and next month I'm dragging her to 2 open houses on the weekends she's not doing her SAT classes. SIGH. Looks like another year of me playing chauffeur.

Can't seem to find the time for her to get her license.

I think Andrew and the girls are in 7606 for the AK cruise. Did you decide to book a separate cabin for yourself on the other side of the ship?!? :confused3 :rotfl: :rotfl2: :dance3: :yay: :lmao: :cool1:

Glad everything is working out for her now.
DD had her first day with the pre-schoolers today and said they were a fun group. Of course, 3 parents showed up 15 minutes late which meant the girls were all 20 minutes late to lunch. I don't think they will let that happen too often with them.

:lmao: You are correct, it is 7606 and 2606!

Even funnier is the fact that you posted both cabins wrong not just 1. Wonder how many times you are going to want to head to the other side of the ship because of this small error. Your family will have to put lo-jack on you in case you get lost going to the wrong cabin. ;) :rotfl2:

Sorry to hear about the car, but so glad to hear that everyone was fine.

Ah yes memories, I remember I was a senior in high school and backed out of a driveway and hit a car going down the road. Fortunately I was going slow and so were they so no one was hurt and their car only had a small amount of damage that I had to pay for :headache: . But to make things worse, the person driving the other car was of Chinese citizenship going to the university, spoke very little english, and was driving a car that belonged to the people whose house they were renting :headache: :headache: . Good thing cars were made so much better back in the 60's and 70's - I was driving a '66 Mustang and they were driving a Chevette.
To this day I'm still paranoid about backing up or backing out of any parking space or driveway.

That kind of thing can get really annoying -- good luck:wizard:

Both back ups failed the online and the DVD, so thats not good, but I had put a lot of my word docs on an email attachment so have thoose, working on a fix.

Overall apart from that working well, and I get an upgrade from Visa to Windows 7 on the 22nd.

I now understand the $1 a minute your late rule. Can't say I was too happy about it but it only happened once and for 5 minutes. One of us was always on time after that. :)

 Feel you. I hit a curb yesterday and dented my chrome rim. DH hasn't noticed yet but I had the morality patrol with me (April) and she keeps bugging me to tell Daddy. Do you all think I can get away with blaming someone else - like "I don't know Hunny, I have NO IDEA when that got there." SIGH -:sad2: I doubt it - DD would definitely snitch on me.

OK - back to the cleaning. Anyone seen that darn cleaning fairy yet?
