The sleds can just be parked in the hallway, there's PLENTY of room!I just learned that you are encouraged to bring your own husky or Alaskan sled dog on the cruise, with sled of course, so that you can get off at the Hubbard glacier and zip around a bit - ask your TA to add the dog on for only an additional $100 . . . or actually, just add the money to my OBC and I'll pay the fee for you

Do you think if we keep switching the eagle nest between our cabin and Caro's that the eagle will get confused?
Funny thing is we used to have a gorgeous Husky that was a sled dog. Poor thing was beat senseless before she was rescued. My mom had to teach her to bark and she was petrified of plaid. We figured someone who wore plaid had beat her. Once she calmed down and got over the plaid issue she was the sweetest dog and was greatly missed when she had to be put down when she was about 14.

Well I just priced out a 4 day wonder cruise for my daughters fall break to push us into the gold category for booking excursions next summer. 2300 for the 3 of us in a cat 11 includes airfare. Now I just have to see what the wife thinks getting earlier access to excursions and Palo is worth

We have the aft deck we could use for the sleds and the dogs, they would get lots of attention out there. 
I'm sure we would have more than eagles coming to visit us then.

I've seen some points posted but can't remember where I saw them. There are a couple of DVC/Disney Timeshare threads out there you can look at. The only one I can recall was like 761 points/person but don't know which cruise or which cat. that was for.
But our cabin only sleeps 3, do you think we could put the dog in there?!?

I don't remember seeing anyone post the DVC points for the Alaska cruises . . . and I think they one you are remembering is for a cat 3 for the PC cruise -- at least I hope it was!

I'm really to say that I totally forgot about booking and didn't even look at the dates. I've been on facebook alot and came out of my room one day to find Andrew (my son) and Steve talking about AK. SIGH. I was hoping they wouldn't want to go but all of my kids abandoned me and all are going. They said I could stay at home. Like that's going to happen. Thanks

Since I happen to have 2 huskies. One is black and white, would that suffice? Or would she be considered naked? The other one I would have to leave at home as she is colorless (white) and I'm afraid she would blend with the floating Captain Mickey's or the icebergs. So no Chloe for this one. Heard a rumor that Mike isn't coming. Is that true? So far, my friend claims they are still going. We are still scheduled to go but really, really, really, keeping fingers crossed. Those airfares are going to kill us now that my son has decided he will be coming. SIGH. This may not be a good trip for us.
OK, so thanks to a "persistent" friend (she actually only called me once so I can't really say she twisted my arm. LOL) my family and I are booked on the 7/18 cruise. Does that sound right.

That would be very strange if your 2011 cruise leaves on the same date as your 2010 cruise, but it happened for a few in 2009.
