It's our birthday and we're gonna party like it's our birthday! On Sunday, June 14th, Hard Rock pays tribute to 38 years of Legendary Burgers and rock 'n' roll memories with a Founders' Day celebration honoring the men and women behind the badge. As part of our Burger Badge Bash, civil servants, including police, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians, are invited to visit participating Hard Rock Cafes in the continental U.S., Canada and Europe to enjoy a burger from Hard Rock's "Legendary Experience" selection for just 71 cents* – commemorating 1971, the birth year of Hard Rock!

** To receive a 71 cent Legendary Burger on June 14th, civil servants must present proper identification and badge stating their eligible status. The offer is valid only for dining-in at select Hard Rock Cafes, limited to one item per person and restrictions apply.

Wow, cool! I wil have to share this with a co-worker of Bob's that goes to every Hard Rock they can find! I know there is one is San Diego which is about an hour or so south of us. Thanks for the info.

So far that is the plan. We have never been to London at all either. We had talked about spending a couple of days in London pre-cruise and then maybe a couple of days in Paris (maybe DLP?) post-cruise but we will need to see how the finances are along with the available time off from work.

I was really interested in going on a Disney cruise before but have held off until our DD got a little older. I had visions of her falling overboard that I just could not get out of my head.
Since Disney announced last fall that they will be doing this Northern European itinerary I just had to get over my fear! I have always wanted to go to the Baltic region and what a perfect opportunity! I just love the friendly, family atmosphere and then finding you all just helped "seal the deal" for me.

I have been lurking around for a while and have read many of the posts on this thread but not all, yet! There are so many!

Welcome aboard! Just jump in and post when ever you feel like it! As you can see, it doesn't have to be Disney or cruise related!

We have never cruised with DCL before and I am hoping to gain a lot of information from all of you veterans so that we can make the most of it all.

DD: (will be 6 when we cruise)- Samantha
Cat. 9 room # 2632 (I think) right now
We live in Albuquerque, New Mexico
We will be celebrating our DD's 7th birthday. She turns 7 on the last day (7/30).
We have been to Disney World many times in the past couple of years but have never been on a DCL cruise.

We would like to be included in bus transfer from London to Dover if there is still room for the 3 of us.

I was out with friends last night -- dinner at Heartland Brewery (anyone who likes beer -- they have a "variety of beer" sampler with little glasses of their 6 most popular microbrews, sort of like doing a beer tasting on DCL, plus lots of yummy comfort food) followed by a concert (the Decemberists) at Radio City.

Right now I have a pre night stay through DCL booked, that might change, but at least I have one night coverred for now

I'll add you to the Ballyhoo bus list. It is so far out at the moment we're just trying to guage numbers. Early next year I will be going back out to everyone for confirmation of their intention so we can finalise the booking. At the moment is looking like 2 vehicles there & 1 back
