Well, with Tara in NYC, we've been going a little more often.........I had an avoidable appointment this morning so I had to take off and I'm supposed to be cleaning right now.......:confused3

Cleaning is a waste of time! This is far more useful!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I'll have to get Tara to take two of the tix!!

I just got tickets through a presale last night for the new Spiderman musical opening next January, music and lyrics by Bono and the Edge, directed by Julie Taymor of "The Lion King" and with aerial effects by Cirque du Soliel . . . should be interesting to say the least!

Your girls should love this one!

JoAnn, this is as though we are having a conversation via IM!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'm almost afraid to ask, but I will -- what did you do? I only brought it up because everyone is dark on Mondays . . .

I was thinking we were going on Saturday so I booked Sunday at the same time. I would have probably realized it the day of the show if we weren't doing this pirate run. So you're right, this is really important!!:rotfl:

Arrrrgh! I am sorry to hear that! If Tara isn't able to use them, you could try to sell them on stubhub or craigslist . . .

That's a thought, I got front row balcony so I'm bummed!

JoAnn, aren't you on a cruise getting back on that Saturday, or is that just MaryAnn?

Well, you could definitely sell front row balcony (that's what we have for tonight):thumbsup2

I've never used stubhub but with you out of town it is probably better than craigslist, which I have used (but generally meet up with the buyer somewhere here in Manhattan to hand over the tickets and collect the cash!).

That's too bad that you missed it -- I never miss it and in my opinion this was one of the best shows they have put on -- I can't imagine people seeing some of the numbers and not wanting to come see a Broadway show, which is the point . . . Neil Patrick Harris was a terrific host . . . yes, we were glad Billy Elliot did so well, too -- my middle daughter has quite a crush on all three Billys and we have met them so it ws so cute to see them accepting their award so awkwardly, just like real kids!

I heard that as well, I saw BE with the Billy in the middle of the acceptance speech (I saw the footage) and he was wonderful. So amazingly talented. There is a scene in the second half of WSS (I think) where another young talent performs so look for that tonight. I ordered the soundtrack just so I could hear it again.

hope there isn't any important cruise info in the past few posts as I skipped several to try for this pirate:rolleyes1

We have seen it twice with two different Billys -- their "Angry Dance" is personilized for each one's dancing strengths . . .we really like David Alverez (the one standing to the left as they accepted).

That should be perfect!! I'll have to email Tara and see if she's available. Yes, we are all coming back from the Tortola cruise that Saturday, then I'm driving up Sunday morning and staying overnight at the Marquis Sunday night. Are we still doing Tavern on the Green?
