We have seen it twice with two different Billys -- their "Angry Dance" is personilized for each one's dancing strengths . . .we really like David Alverez (the one standing to the left as they accepted).

That was fantastic!!

I'm probably too late:rolleyes:

You got us!! Congrats.......now I'm off to email Tara (I can't believe I did that!) I usually make my plans late at night so I'm surprised I don't do it more often!:confused3:confused:

yes, thank you
can I get that at a vet or in the stores ?

I think I have seen it at PetSmart, although I always just order it online as I posted before . . .

That should be perfect!! I'll have to email Tara and see if she's available. Yes, we are all coming back from the Tortola cruise that Saturday, then I'm driving up Sunday morning and staying overnight at the Marquis Sunday night. Are we still doing Tavern on the Green?

Yes, I think that is what Helen decided, Tavern for dinner after Wicked . . . when I get back I will confirm numbers and make a reservation (and try for the Crystal Room).

So, this time next week I will be fighting jet lag in Dublin, with Venice, London, etc., still to look forward to . . .
Sounds like a wonderful trip despite the jetlag:thumbsup2
My DS is going to Italy this summer (2 weeks in July) with his friend and his friend's Mom who is from Naples. I'm a bit nervous about him traveling without us:guilty:
Any advice:confused3

Hey, JoAnn, did you get those huge storms we had last night (woke me up between 2 and 3 overnight) and then again this morning? I thought I was in Florida!:lmao:
It was storming in VA this morning too:sad2:
But it is hot and sunny now:confused3
Hey, that last post was my 6,500th one! And so few of them have had any relevance in the least:lmao:
Congrats:thumbsup2:cheer2::cheer2:

We will! I have a tradition of taking the girls to something on Broadway at the beginning and end of each school year (and of course other times, too!) and the two oldest girls have their last day tomorrow (the younger one is already out as of Friday).

Oh, wish we could do that.
The advantage of living in NYC:thumbsup2

How old is your son, Laurie? I let my oldest go on a several week foreign study program to Spain when she had just turned 15 a week or so before she left, and my 14 year old flew to St Martin with a friend and that friend's family and sailed to St Bart's on a yacht over President's weekend this year . . . it does seem strange when they are that far away, but before you know it they won't even be living at home, so I guess we have to start getting used to it!

playing ketchup here...

Just like my DH
He hates the drama...his family has had quite a few family feuds over the years and he avoids it all as much as possible.

Don't let the resentment build up too much -I speak from experience:headache:
Pick your battles-appear to compromise and go along with things that don't matter to you and then stick to your guns on the important stuff.
Yeah I know easier said than done:hug:
I would try to insist that you really like the planning part of your vacations and try to coordinate your plans with your Inlaws as much as possible without sacrificing your mustdos:confused3

My DH isn't suppose to drink anymore either due to a medical condition. Funny how he didn't drink much before but as soon as someone tells you you can't-he misses it:confused3

I get along ok with one of my sil and the other one is so out of touch with reality she's scary:scared:
Same with my sisters- one I'm good with the other drives me nuts:rolleyes:

Actually the nice thing about a cruise is that a family can each go their own way and then meet up for dinner:confused3
We haven't been able to get family to go with us on a cruise yet-that may not be a bad thing:rolleyes1

I am going to try to compromise where I feel like compromising for Bob.:) But I don't feel like we need todo everything together and I want to see what I want to see, excursions I won't compromise on.

That's true. I have a drink out to dinner once in a blue moon, or at a party. It felt fun having a drink at the pool on a cruise. But I really don't drink. Now I feel sad.:sad2:

I am so jealous of you guys that live in and near NY. I LOVE going to the theatre. We have the Pantages in Hollywood which is about an hour and a half from us barring traffic. A lot of times the shows say straight from Broadway. We saw Wicked a few months back that was fabulous. And a girfriend and I went to see Grease last month with Taylor Hicks as Teen Angel. He looked scared stiff, did not really interact with the other cast members and stared straight off into the balcony. :confused3

JoAnn, is your DD that is going to school in Miami going on the cruise with you next month? If so they are offering FL resident rates and I think she qualifies since she's a student.

:sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2:No, she can't. She can't miss school then and she still needs to establish residency. When she dropped out, we added the BFs for the other two girls. I'm really bummed b/c the two youngest can't come next summer for this cruise due to school commitments too. Hopefully, down the road we'll all sail together again......

Sorry, I was trying to save you money. I know for WDW all she needs to show if her FL school ID for the resident discounts there.

pirate: Congrats Laurie. I'll add your name to the pirate: list.
Thanks:goodvibes

Andrew is 15 and 1/2. Sometimes comes across as very mature and other times not:headache:
I know the Mom very well and she has assured me she will keep a close eye on the boys. She wants her son to go with her to visit family and is taking Andrew to make her son happy. Really wonderful opportunity for him as she has promised to take them around Italy to sightsee.

You've got the right idea:thumbsup2 Make sure you get credit for compromising;)

I'm pretty sure a lot of those drinks can be made without alcohol:confused3
I know I get the sailaway drink (minus alcohol) for the kids.
I'm suppose to keep alcohol to a minimum too (post lumpectomy). Only at special occassions do I indulge and then only a glass or 2 at most.

I wasn't trying to lecture anyone before when I mentioned the nasty comments on the main board. I was just joking about the contrast. A minor "squabble" here was nothing in comparison to the remarks on the main board.

It is such a shame. I used to really enjoy the main board and brag to my husband how nice the DIS people were.
I guess some people just enjoy arguing :confused3

Most of the time it's fine, just everyone once in awhile it gets bad. The moderators do a good job of warning people when they feel they need to.:grouphug:
