Wow, I thought it was a national holiday! The snow really didn't hit here until like 3pm.

I was really surprised. Even Temple doesn't start the new semester until tomorrow. My next rotation is at Walmart and starts tomorrow. I'm hoping it will be an easy 5 weeks. I'm sure it will be better than the inpatient clinical rotation that I had last.

We had a little snow last night, but it was over before I went to bed. One could still hope though. It started snowing again around noon, but didn't really amount to anything. And trust me, I'm not complaining.

You go to Temple? I didn't realize that.......my second DD is a senior there so she starts tomorrow too. My youngest DD goes to Drexel and she had to start on 1/5.

We had more snow than I thought we would. Our streets are still covered.......they'll probably clean it in time.

What is your DD going to school for? I'm at the Health Science campus, so I'm a couple miles North on Broad St from the main campus. My cousin is a senior on main campus.

Well, actually she just applied to your campus for grad school. She is a Kinesiology major. She plans to attend Physical Therapy school which is another 3 years. She interviewed at Drexel, she's waiting to hear from Temple & Jefferson, she's interviewing in Miami in a couple weeks. What's your cousin's major?

Good luck to her! I'm in a 6 year program, but I did the first 2-year's of prerequisite stuff part time, which took an extra year, so it's been a 7-year program for me. Linda is even more ready for me to graduate than I am!

My cousin is a communications major, with a focus in broadcasting (I think.)

Yes, going to school while raising kids is tough, I did it too. But it did work out just in time for me to pay for their educations! My oldest DD graduated from Temple as a Communications/Advertising major. She's currently seeking employment in Manhattan..........:rainbow:

Well, guys, just about 50 posts to go til our first pirate: of thread 3~

This is true, BOEING pays a lot more than REI.
Besides that, we need the planes to takes to where the ship is. Someday we won't though. Someday we'll just be able to drive up the freeway and hop on!
