We will be visiting a grad school in Miami at the end of the month for my DD21..........I was printing out the ressie papers and I realized that I never received two of my flights.........I wasn't going to sleep until I found those emails!!!

It really is an amazing city since there is the stark contrast of the medivel part of city the against the modern city. It's so much fun to poke in and out of the alleys to explore the shops and walk into the centuries old buildings. Every turn is so different.

Oh Oh Barb, have you posted lots of pictures? I guess I did miss a lot. I still have our link - are they in there? Love the picture.

Special report on the tv right now: A USAirways plane has gone down in the Hudson River just a few minutes ago. It was going from LaGuardia to Charlotte, NC and there were 23 passengers onboard. Some of the passengers are on the wing since the plane is not submerged.

Isn't that pilot just amazing, but it got me to thinking I kow that this is not the first time that birds have caused engine failure, why is it not possible to invent/create something that can cover the engine to stop birds being sucked in without causing engine overheating etc ??

Yep I've already thought about it. As we're taking the car I can take a laptop and I've got wireless 3G broadband so I do "live" reports with photos

When I was there I never heard a British accent, everyone there was a toursit and the clerks in the shops were foreigners!

Let me tell you that there aint so many foreigners behind the counters right now and there will be even less in the future. They reacon that 200,000 Polish people alone will be heading back to Poland out of the UK as our economy is so bad and they can't find work or the wages are not high enough I won't comment about how I feel about that as I'd probably be kicked straight out by the mods

The store also sells lots of scrapbook stickers and supplies. I got ones for England, Russia and Germany for next year's scrapbook

That gorgeous Laurie if I send you over our last 5 holidays worth of photos will you scrap them for me ??? I only managed to scrap 1 WDW holiday for our 2004 visit and it came out really well. Since then every year I buy all the supplies to scap the photos but then never find the time to do it. ??? Maybe one day when/if I ever retire I'll get the time to scrap

I like the sound to that, it has a lovely ring to it. Sorry about just disappearing on you last night, the laptop developed some kind of serious Vista problem and kept freezing. Everytime I rebooted it went into auto fix mode and ran diagnostic for 30 mins I'll take a better look at it over the weekend but it was soooooooooooo fustrating not being able to "chat" with you all

The mall a few miles from me is a Westfied. They are quite plentiful out here.

We have two Westfield malls (Oakridge and Valley Faire) within about 5 miles of here. Nice malls - Valley Faire is huge.

I know, but I think we are getting the bad news out in Europe and UK, but the $ is unrealistically high, and as said before might be in a honeymoon period for your new president.

Once he takes office next week, the honeymoons over!!

He gets more than a week. He's going to be very effective for a while and have some momentum. I'd say at least a month, probably two before the glow wears off.

Ok, I guess I'm wrong about the geese........

About DCL excursions, I've been on my share of them, they are usually expensive. Sometimes, they are wonderful. Occasionally, they aren't worth it. If you have an idea what you're doing, you will probably save money on your own, but I think you really have to do the research.

So, let me know what we're all doing in St. P.......

I've been generally happy with the DCL excursions. I know I'm paying a premium, but it's for peace of mind - knowing the boat won't leave without me is worth it.
