Just a little bit more studying, then off to bed. Have a good night all!
Andrew is already sound asleep. He hasn't feeling too well recently. Kathryn is still up working on some homework. I'm waiting for Alana to call or text me. She's playing with the pep band at the HS basketball game.

We asked at the Rose & Crown when we are at WDW if they had Scrumpy, but unfortunately they didn't.

:thumbsup2

R&C has hard cider just not 'Scrumpy' brand, they have Strongbow cider and it's really good with Ribena or Black Current Cassis in it.

that's what I'm thinking too! That's how it was for the Repo cruise this summer! I can't imagine I'll ever get back to the Panama Canal and Columbia again. It was an amazing experience.

That's what I thought about the Baltics this past summer and here we have another cruise booked and sending DD there this summer. You just never know.

I don't know if I would of been a true Ballyhooer if I had some other brand than Scrumpy!

Scrumpy definition from the JK Scrumpy website:

Scrumpy
Well… that’s an English-style of farmhouse cider that has always been popular on the farms of southern England. It was also known here in the states in the early 1800's .

That is from the JK Scrumpy's website. So I think scrumpy is a generic term in the UK that has become a brand here in the states.

Wikipedia definition:

"Scrumpy" is a term often used for ciders made in South West England, especially to distinguish those made locally in smaller quantities and using traditional methods from mass produced branded ciders.

The name is believed to derive from the obsolete dialect term "scrimp", meaning a small or withered apple, which also gave rise to the verb "scrump", meaning to steal fruit.[1][2] It can be applied to basic home made ciders as well as to commercially produced and marketed varieties. Scrumpy can be dry or sweet, however tends to be stronger in alcohol and more tannic than most commercial ciders. It is often cloudy in appearance, and is usually still rather than carbonated.

I like hard cider. I get it all the time at Rose & Crown. It's actually refreshing on a hot/humid day.
You can try Mike's hard cider to see if you like it, I know you can find that near you.

I napped for about an hour this afternoon. I'm just used to it. When I worked second shift I didn't go to bed until 2:00 sometimes, then I'd be up to get the girls off to school. I'll be going to bed soon.
Look who's talking though! It's 1:00AM for you!
