I will only drink Guinness in Ireland, but I will NOT eat mushy peas anywhere. Guinness goes with anything over there, well not ice cream.

Rather than send him out to do grocery shopping send him out to do jewelry shopping and see what he comes home with. Might be very good for you.

I got a ring for Christmas. That will be my jewelry allotment for the decade. Especially since the county has decided he has to take off one day a month without pay to help with the budget crunch. Don't those idiots know we have a cruise to pay for?

I guess 1 less day a month is better than no job at all. DH thinks he's going to have to give up every other Sat. night o/t, but at least he has a job with benefits.

He is like a little kid with ADD....wwhooooooo look, candy, cookies, ice cream oh my!!

He also LOVES the $ store. Every thing is $1. He can come home with about $50 worth of "really cool stuff"!!

That's just nasty.
They sell them MUSHY in cans - or tins as they call them. So tinned mushy peas sounds even worse.

Sorry Izzi, just don't like them. Can you tell?

At least at R&C in Epcot they serve their f&c with 'normal' peas.
But we usually get them in the pub section so we can use our dining discount card rather than pay full price at the kiosk outside. They don't come with peas there, it's the same portion you get at the kiosk.

Yes, I too have been a lady of leisure for quite awhile now. But I mentioned last night I am on restiction. I probably should have won some sort of award for my online shopping!

I've tried to cutdown my online shopping too, on my own. Those free shipping offers I kept getting were too good to pass up.
