New Year's resolution is to post more often not to just try to catch up and talk about posts from weeks ago.

I'm just trying to catch up at this point:rotfl2:

But I am also gonna try to post more. I'm missing too much good stuff:sad2:

Going to a scrapbook class this morning, but I'll be back later.

I like to watch the transformations. I'd been wanting to go see them since last NY's when the girl from the Cheetah Girls was on with Mark Ballas. no one wanted to go. This year, my MIL said she'd go with me and since this trip was about spending time with the In-Laws, decided it was a good thing. I THOROUGHLY enjoyed it. I didn't think I would so much but what made it so much better was that Steve snagged a table 3 deep from the stage. I had a very decent view and it didn't help that Max kept coming by dancing and swinging his ....... torso? around. It was great. I'd go again. Turns out my MIL has a thing for Derek Hough. HEE HEE, guess she has a thing for blondies too. :lmao: Anyway, I really want to see the next tour of So You Think You Can Dance. I am just amazed at the way some people can contort their bodies. I am green with jealousy.
:)
JoAnn, best wishes and good luck to your DD, my DS was just informed that they will be closing his job slot in February so I'm not sure what he is going to be doing other than sponging off us for a while. LOL - While I mind, I'm glad he's around to be able to do it. Now if I can only get him to go back to school and I would be fine!

Thanks Laura, I'm worried sick, but I know it will all work out soon.......

I think that's why I LOVED seeing So You Think You Can Dance.......we did have good seats......DWS is coming to AC so I'll look into it.

Hi I am Karen known here as Madisonznana. My husband and I (he doesn't do computer if he can help it ;) ) Bob, just officially paid our deposit for this cruise yesterday.   We will be travelling with our DGD Madison who will be 8 at the time. We are also coming along with my BIL Randy, his wife Alina and their two DDs, Rheanna who will be 10 and Shelby also 8.
We are all so excited. This will be Bob, Madison and my second Disney Cruise and the first for the rest of the family. The girls have a lot of counting down to do.
I will go back to the start and try to catch up on who is going. I browsed a bit yesterday and noticed a bunco friend and her family are coming along too. Wow I already know someone! I can't wait to meet everyone!

Hello Karen, welcome to our Ballyhoo !! As you'll soon learn most of us are completely nuts and totally wacky, but as Carolyn said none of us bite and we're certainly coming together as one of those "very special groups" which is what is going to make this cruise so very bloody marvellous :grouphug: :grouphug:

Ok, I want that too.......instructions?
OK, go here! http://www.**************/
Click on Countdown Banner
pick your banner you want
go up to "slders" click and pick your slider
go up to "event data" click and fill in info
click on "create banner"

You'll then get a page that shows you your banner and the script stuff.
On that page, click on "To create another countdown banner, Click Here."
That will take you to the page to create another banner. Repeat the steps from above, until you have all the banners you want.
Then click on "rotating banner" It's off to the right in the yellow and red section.
Your banners should all be there. If so, click on "create"
Now you're at the page that gives you the code to put the rotating banners in your signature. I used the top one that says: PseudoHTML, UBBCode or BBCode, used boards that don't allow HTML
Copy the code in the box and paste it in your signature!

WELCOME MOST WELCOME

Just a reminder of the luggage tags. I will put a call out much nearer the cruise date for the number of tags people want. The cost at the moment is about $6 each if we order between 125 - 200

balticballyhoo.jpg

Just getting around to reading from the beginning and noticed that I have how many?????:scared1: to read from the first thread. I noticed this one talking about the tags. My DH would be complaining that I would need this many tags by myself!:lmao:

Ok Ballyhooers another film that I would highly, highly recommend you go and see, it's DEFIANCE starring Daniel Craig. For those of you who haven't heard of it as it's only just been release it's a true story about the Jews of Bellarussia who escaped the Nazi "cleansing" and hid in the forests for over 4 years, led by 4 brothers.

It's a very moving and powerful film made even more so as it's a true story. 2 of the 4 brothers survived and lived to a ripe old age in the U.S. 1 died fighting with the Russian army later in the war and what happened to the youngest is unknown.

If you feel like watching a grownup film, rather than just some fun and fluff it's well worth the effort. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Disneynutinlondon,

I just saw the luggage tags....these are great! Do you still have room for more requests? Do you need $ up front and do you need it in pounds? Have I asked enough questions? :lmao:

Thanks,

Hello there. Thanks for the praise it really was a group effort. Don't worry about orders or money just yet, I'll get round to putting out a shout about order and numbers nearer the sail date, probably once we've all had to pay our final amounts. That way at least we know that we actually going to be going.

I'll probably do somthing about the Sisterhood Baltic Ballyhoo Breast Cancer t-shirts at the same time.

Welcome, Ken! I almost feel like a lurker myself. I have been away for so long!

We went to South Carolina for Christmas to visit our dd. It was wonderful with record high temperatures for Christmas day. We enjoyed all the sunshine we could get.

We can appreciate anyone's flight delays over the holidays! We had our share on the way home:eek:

This past week we have had it all from rain, sleet, ice and now snow!:scared1: Now the kids have a 2 hour delay for tomorrow:)

I am having foot surgery the 19th so I am getting my Disney DVD's together to take to the bedroom. I have quite a few I haven't watched so I plan on keeping myself entertained if I have to be confined!:rolleyes1 . I will have to be sure the laptop is working! :surfweb: We have not used it for ages!

Izzi, thanks so much for taking care of the Christmas card exchange. It was so much fun!

Wishing everyone a great 2009.

Hey Harole Ann I just noticed your tag, thats really wonderful ....... when did the TF visit :tink: :tink:

Awesome!! :thumbsup2 Yeah, it would be easier to wait until all is paid. DH and I have been hording pennies like a miser. Sure hope this economy doesn't cancel the trip for anyone.

I'll keep my eye out for the t-shirt as well. Thanks for all the info.

Hi everyone from snowy New York . . . this is mainly for JoAnn's info, but just came back from lunch at John's pizzeria and seeing "Billy Elliott" on Broadway -- I thought it was really brilliant and all three girls really enjoyed it.

Thanks for all the welcomes. I jumped down to skimming the past posts because I will never catch up! Did anything really, really important happen that I should know abou?
You do sound like a wild bunch. :cheer2: I am really looking forward to playing.

You went to John's?!? DD & I were just talking about John's when we were in AZ saying how good it would taste. We really need to get up there to get some, it's sooooo good. ::yes::

This is actually our 2nd thread for this cruise, so we really like to talk. Not sure if you saw or not, but some like to call us chattylicious.
I'm Barb, my DH is Jay and doesn't post and DD, Alexa, will be 16 when we cruise. We just did a Baltics cruise this past July and DD will be going back to StP and Tallinn this summer.

:welcome: :welcome: :welcome:

We really don't bite. We are a fun bunch on here.

We probably eat there a few times a month since we can walk to it . . .:thumbsup2 I love, love it -- and I have eaten there with JoAnn (jlawall) and Maryanne (Mrs G) too!

Now I'm very, very jealous of you. We first went there about 1½ years ago with a DIS family that was visiting NYC from CA, she read about it on the internet and thought we should all try it. I have to say it was the best pizza I ever tasted and the cheapest meal I've ever eaten in any big city.
