:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: I don't think tomorrow and Friday are going to be very nice days, senior managers keep disappearing in and out of meetings and the Head of IT almost bowled me over in his dash to pick up a piece of paper coming out of the printer before I could see it (I was standing by the printer waiting for MY printouts) which I guess had "names" on it :sad1: :sad1:

Sorry to hear this, Izzi . . . wishing you good luck!:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :flower3: :flower3:

I've gotten my holiday photos loaded through the Grand Cayman day . . . so I will post a few today.

Here are the Christmas decorations in the terminal and the watermelon carving for the NYE cruise in the atrium as we got on:

Some of the Christmas decorations on the ship -- the gingerbread house was in the Promenade Lounge and it smelled wonderful when you would go by!

My youngest being interviewed on the red carpet before the Golden Mickeys -- I took this picture of the screen in the Walt Disney theatre and was surprised at how well it turned out:

Key West -- animal encounter on Duval Street and parasailing with Fury watersports (lots of fun!)

The guy at Fury let Meredith drive the boat -- he is showing his hands are off here (not sure how much the others on the boat appreciated this, but we didn't crash!):

Grand Cayman: we did a private charter and had a boat and his captain all day, which was wonderful. First he took us to Stingray City:

Then we snorkeled, went tubing, had lunch at Rum Point and enjoyed the beach, saw live conch and starfish that John Michael had found for us while we were eating, tubed some more, and then went through mangroves to get back. It was a wonderful day!

In the next few days, I will get Cozumel through the rest of the cruise (including photos of Hement in SHORTS on Castaway Cay), and of course New Year's eve . . .

I like this pic and it brings back memories of a CM letting me 'drive' one of the boats from Fort Wilderness to the Contemporary when I was about 10. You would never see that these days.

:grouphug: Good thoughts for you. Just remember to stay out the main walkways and don't hang out around the printer for a couple of days so you don't get run over. :flower3:

Thanks, Barb -- I know, I completely understand why Disney has to be so safety conscious nowadays (they are a huge legal target) but sometimes you want to feel a little more "on the edge"!

Yikes......that's scary........GL.......:guilty:

Thx, Julie, I can't your pics until I get home........thx for posting......:goodvibes

Barb and Julie We are loving all of the pictures. They make it so hard to wait for the next cruise . Izzi Our thoughts and best wishes are with you. Glad to hear Josh is doing better. Andrew We thought the birthday celebration was great.
Mike I remember how anxious I was to finish my last rotations. They start to fly by now. Good luck. New Year's resolution is to post more often not to just try to catch up and talk about posts from weeks ago.

........................... it looks as though I'm safe. Those that are definately going have gone and those that are "at risk" have been informed and the final selection will be done by this Friday. I'm still here and I'm NOT on the "at risk" list.

Thank you again for all your kind thoughts

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: I'm so glad to hear this!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: I know the mood around the office must be pretty somber, though . . .

Great pictures Julie, looks like you had a fantastic time.

Yes, we did -- it was really magical. I will try to load the pics from Cozumel on today or tomorrow and post a few more.

Pete and the gang are interviewing him today at noon for the Podcast! Obviously it's about the Birthday thing. I'm guessing it's for todays Podcast, but not sure!
We had found out about where Andrew was on the news through another DIS'r that had gone on the EB Repo cruise with us, who also works for DU. (Winotracy) She emailed Andrew and gave him the link for one of the articles and told him he should contact the Podcast crew. Andrew called and left a message with them and Pete emailed him today asking him if they could interview him this afternoon.
It's still all so exciting!
I found another article yesterday about it!
