Hello all, just looking in. Thanks for all the kind thoughts and PM's they were much appreciated.

Weekend was busy but good. We were at friends for fFriday night Shabbos dinner which was fantastic.... very loud and very funny !!!! and last night we were out for Paul's aunts 70th birthday party which was good as it was nice to catch up with family we've not seen in a while.

Bad news it looks as though Ethan might have a touch of 'flu.... he been complaining of an "aching body" all weekend "my back hurts, my legs hurt, my ankles hurt" etc, etc which I put down to "growing pains" but he was sent home from school before lessons even started this morning and he's been sleeping for the last 7 hours :scared1: Unfortunately tonight is the one and only performance of The Junior Showtime production of Cinderella so we'll have to wait and see if he's well enough to make it. He's at home at the moment with the au pair so we'll make a decision later. Bless him he's got a packed week this week with the show tonight, a WWII VE day cooking with rations and then a party at school tomorrow, he going to his new secondary school for the day on Wednesday for an "assessment day" and he's got his class xmas party on Thursday so this really is not a week for him to be ill  :sad2:

Hope you had a safe drive in this morning.

It's supposed to be in the mid 60's here today and then more rain moves in. :confused3

The drive was just fine. The main roads are clear, it's the side roads that are nasty. It's not supposed to get above freezing here till at least next Sunday, maybe even till Christmas. More snow possibly on Wednesday. They say this is the longest clod snap here since 1990.

Hi everyone,

We just got back from our WDW trip/Wonder cruise late last night. We had a great time. The parks were busier than they were when we were there at the same time last year, but between fast passes and being there at rope drops we managed to get a lot done. The weather was in the mid to upper 60's most days. Yesterday was sunny and warmer. We stayed at Animal Kingdom Villas and really liked the 1 bedroom villa, especially the washer/dryer. We decided on the cruise to add more DVC points (did an add on at BLT) so we can stay in 1 bedrooms all the time and start cruising on points. Our cruise was a mousefest cruise and I got to meet Deb from Allearsnet and some other web site founders and authors.

We went to MK on the Christmas parade taping day and avoided the filming all day since most of the crowds were there. As we were getting ready to hop to Epcot for dinner, we were passing the stage and they announced Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus would be singing so we stayed for that. We were stuck in the crowd anyways, doing multiple retakes of the same song and crowd panning. Billy pretended to throw his glasses and a present out which had the crowd jumping up and down. I'm sure ABC will show that as the reaction to him coming on stage instead! It was interesting to see how they taped it. We were in the back of the crowd to the right of the stage and a camera man came up and filmed the boys right in their faces, but I'm not sure if they'll be on it since they said they do tons of editing.

We had decent servers on the Wonder and a good room location --6538. Our friends sailing with us on their first cruise loved it. We told them to be prepared to rebook and they said it would be their first and last--before they cruised. They rebooked!
Sounds like you had a great trip! Week and a half till we are at WDW!!! :cool1:

Thank you for all you warm thoughts:goodvibes :goodvibes :cool1: we did not have icing on the coast, however we had some flooding with the rains, & I have been busy in Boston with some related problems, but all is back to normal now so I can check in!:cool1: :woohoo:  :thumbsup2

Also anyone on the Hanuka card list, I have now mailed all the cards!:scared:

Okay I think that does it as U-ALL say I am All Ketched up no mustard!

Glad to hear you are safe and sound! We have to keep our fellow Ballyhooers safe!

:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: Paul has just got home and there is no way that Ethan is going to be able to do the show, poor old thing

Yesterday we had a family dinner to go to a couple hours away and we did stop on the way home to go shopping. Gotta stop at Target when we are near one since we have to drive a distance to get to one.

Lots to do the next few days, including a meeting at school tonight to learn about DD's reapplication process for 10th grade.
:thumbsup2
Great time's great friends who could ask for anything more!:thumbsup2

You aren't iced over, that's good. :cold:

Hey Izzie how are you?:thumbsup2

There is a 'very bad' flu going around that takes hold within an hour or so and you realy know you have it, I have seen peple drop with it in an hour or so.

Not sure if this will work but for 24 hours any henpecked men listen to this:-

(Tell me if it works)

Hey all! Survived the weekend. Made 2 batches of Cranberry Cheese Cake bars and helped dd with her independent project that she turned in today. She procrastinated till the last moment. She had it done by noon yesterday. Also did some grocery shopping. Hit Krogers 3 days straight, because I kept forgetting things! Tonight we are going to start making the sugar cookies.

Thanks for all the neat cards. Mike thanks for the magnet. It was so funny I showed Kaitlin your card and than the next thing I knew she had the magnet and was heading to the fridge!

Only 2 1/2 more working days and than 2 weeks off! Can you believe I have jury duty at 1:30 PM on the 18th! It's my local district court and most times they don't need me, but with my luck this time they will.
