Unfortunately it doesn't look as clear cut as that. New bookings are ok but existing bookings it's something about checking the price on a certain day in the fiscal quarter of your cruise. So at the moment on the same cruise some people will have paid the surcharge and others won't have depending on when you actually booked the cruise

Its a storm in a tea cup, I think they are on to DCL, and they might amend a bit, basically they are doing what other cruise lines do, they look at a date each quarter, and use that as a base for a refund to OBC or not.

Yes if you book new it isnt included but rates might increase, It will work itself out.

Come on, Andrew -- you know Sallie! Just sign her up for Dec. 23 and be done with it!

I got short shrift from her this afternoon, not very helpful at all but then I wouldn't say she's been very friendly from the start of this booking so maybe that's just the way she is

I love the TA I use, she's so friendly and always gets an answer.

For this cruise I switched TA. This is the 1st time I've used DU, I heard good things about them on our Med cruise, they were also giving a very good OBC and they managed to get me the cabin cat that I wanted but at this current moment I have to say that the small amount of email contact I had with them has not been very friendly

Have to go to bed now, Paul and I are going out with my sister and BIL on Wednesday night to see Simply Red at the O2 arena and it's going to be a very late night, we probably won't get home till after midnight and then Paul has to be up at 3:30am to go to work So I have to get in a couple of early nights

Hi everyone ! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a great weekend away with family. My cousin Andrew got engaged- we love his fiance and her family is wonderful. WE are all very close. The wedding is going to be sometime summer 2010 I will not get upset about this until I know the exact date. They will start looking for a reception hall after Christmas, so I will hold my breath until then.
I have a crazy week. Tomorrow night Carley is playing her cello with her school ensemble at Lincoln Center in NYC !! They choose 10 schools to play each year, and her school was chosen. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. I cant wait. She also has her
Cotillion Friday night. We are hosting the Pre Party. So, I have to get all the decorations up, clean, cook, finish the last set of school conferences tomorrow, and work full time. I should be dead by Saturday!!! I will try to check in.
I wish there was a way to color code cruise info from the fluff. Dont get me wrong ,I love love love the fluff- I can fluff with the best of them, but I afraid I am going to miss something important when I try to quickly go back to catch up after being off for a few days due to life getting in the way.I know its impossible, but that would be a great idea I think. Izzi will have to keep me updated with any cruise info I need to know!!
Andrew- please put me on the holiday picture thing- later in the month if you can.. great idea!!!

We booked one on points and one cash so I am sure we're not going to get any points or cash back as that is contracted with DVC to DCL.
