Question for fellow Ballyhooers! Do you talk about this thread with your family? Andrew and I do with the girls. They know quite a bit of what goes on here! They know names of people, where they live and stuff. I believe Andrew and I are the only spouses on the thread, so I'm sure that makes a difference.

Yeah you really need some other Activities!

But you still have to SHOP for them, so in essence you are a shopper of a different sort.
I'm a jeans and sweats girl too, but I LOVE my jewelry, purses and shoes.


BUT you must get your DH to shop for you and buy you a pair of Uggs. Especially since he knows so much about them.

Do you mean besides working full time and still being very involved in my girls outside activities? (Girl Scouts, Dance class, church, Show Biz Kids performing group, etc)

Monday Morning Bonding with my 4 year old daughter as I take her skating than for a nutritional stop at MickeyD's

Very good for the Monday morning bonding and the nutritional stop.
Sounds like you spend an awful lot of time at the rink or at least on the road to/fro there.

I do mention some things that go on here, but they usually just shake their head at me. I did tell them we will be getting mail from people we don't even know come Christmas time, they gave me strange looks but understood.

As for your question I sit with the laptop in the lounge room whilst watching tv, the kids and DH often ask whose on and as they remember alot of the folks on this thread from the Med cruise they ask after them. Also I must admit that Robert has been a topic of conversation a couple of times.

I've just realised the DH is listening to "Be our guest" from Beauty & the Beast as he cooks dinner

As for your question I sit with the laptop in the lounge room whilst watching tv, the kids and DH often ask whose on and as they remember alot of the folks on this thread from the Med cruise they ask after them. Also I must admit that Robert has been a topic of conversation a couple of times.

I've just realised the DH is listening to "Be our guest" from Beauty & the Beast as he cooks dinner

That's my favorite movie and even more favorite soundtrack.
Our bedroom has many B&B art pieces.

My family do take an interest, my kids in particular would like penfriends but have asked these for 2009 cruise first.

DW, She who doesnt post, doesnt like the Disboards , but does occassionaly have a look, its just not her 'cup of tea.'

Its Monday always the worst day of the week, back to work, wet and murky weather and getting colder at the end of the week.

So trying to be upbeat, but miserable here in London!!!

No it is rarely between 2 rinks I am trying to limit that activity it is ususaly from point A or B or C to 1 rink or the other!

However I like to run er jet!

It's taken me 20 some years to keep him this way - don't you go changing him in 12 days.
But if you are in diversions around the Guinness things could change and they wouldn't be in my favor.
