Ok so I'm sitting in my lounge just chillin' watching ..........Transformers !!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I still have off until next Monday, I can't believe it. Also, I've made myself go to all these doctor appointments this week. What a fun vacation week. It's a necessary evil. The weather looks great in Florida. I was checking airfares last night. I'm going to go read Andrew's blog.

Good morning/day to all!!:surfweb:

We will Izzy.

If any of you Ballyhooers are interested, I am doing a blog about the trip:

come check it out.

Thanks to Andrew for blogging your trip! I have a few questions.........so what do you eat at Earl of Sandwich? I never heard of that one. Also, where are you staying? I can't figure it out. The trip sounds great so far.

We just love The Earl of Sandwich, good value, good food, very good for lunch :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Joanne the EoS sells........................... sandwiches :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Well at least they sell what Americans call sandwiches, not English sandwiches at all. Background about the name of the place :teacher: Way back (I don't know the exact year) the Earl of Sandwich was playing cards at the gaming tables and was hungry but didn't want to leave the tables so he ordered some meat and told his staff to put it inbetween to bits of bread to make it easier for him to eat it without having to stop his gambling :teacher:

Thank you. You always know everything.

OMG I have just watched the most fantastic film ........"Lions For Lambs" if you get the chance please watch it. It's a very intelligent look at the meaning of war for different people, stars Meryl Streep, Robert Redford and Tom Cruise. No big action scenes just very, very good acting, directed by Robert Redford.

Have a wonderful time!!!!!!

We've eaten a Marakkesh a few times. The food is really good and I'm a picky eater and don't like really spicy things. But there is something on the menu for everyone. Many people had children there. We especially love the Tangerine Cafe for lunch. It's worth a try.

Izzi,
We make sure we visit the Biergarten in Germany every trip. There is a nice atmosphere and it is buffet so there is plenty to choose from, even if german food is not your favorite. I think you'll like it.

Hey all! We are still among the living, just being lazy! Really enjoying our time off. The weather has been a bit wild though. Only 6 more weeks give or take and we will be at WDW!

I love all these WDW dining tips.......it makes me want to book a trip just to try them all out...........I seriously would love to just go to EPCOT and really check out everything in depth. Usually we're so busy park-hopping, we do too much, get too tired and just waste our time moving around.

I think dd likes English sandwiches better! She doesn't like the crust! The new terminal at our airport has an Earl of Sandwich. We tried it out and they were just as good as DTD! Except we were overlooking the airport parking structure! :rotfl2: Unfortunately, you need a ticket to get to that.

Hope everyone is doing OK. Almost all the snow is gone here. Who know what else maybe on the way!? :confused3
