:thumbsup2 Stephen and myself love the trains and watching them, I also find the Non-Mk resorts a hassle to get to/from by bus, we can watch the MK fireworks as well form our rooms.

Longest night tonight! Australia give our sun back now!

Andrew, have you take the Magic Behind the Steam Trains Tour at MK? It really is a neat way to get the history behind the trains and you get to go in the park before it opens and then ride the train to Toontown, then you get to back up to the 'roundhouse' and get to have a look around there. It's not a bad price for a WDW tour and it's available for anyone 10 and up.
I've done it twice and DH & DD have done it once, we all really like it.

Stephen so far has been under the age limit -he turned 10 in September, but I would like to do it sometime soon.

Then this summer sounds like a good time to do it. We did it the summer DD turned 10 and she was so happy to be the first person into the MK for the day, since they have to run your ticket thru the turnstile. Since she was the youngest in the group they all let her go first.

Its something we will consider, we can get there early as we are at the Contemporary and can walk.

Pictures of the street in front of our house. It's been snowing AGAIN for an hour or so. I took them with my cell phone, so quality isn't the best.

That 7:30 meeting time is a killer, at least that's what it used to be. I hate to get up early, but for Walt's passion it didn't bother me so much.
Plus it's an great time to get a pic of the castle with no one in sight. princess:

That's the way I like to see snow - in pics. :rotfl:
Obviously they don't like to plow the streets or just aren't used to doing it.

Sorry it's a bit late folks but we've been very busy this weekend and we've just got back from my mother-in laws where we've just had dinner, so long story short we've only just lit our Hunukkia which I wanted to share with all you lot.

Happy Hunukkah

Thank you and again thx for the suggestion about the holiday cards.....that was a nice suggestion...........:lovestruc

Bet the 'guys' name was 'Walt',

That must be it!!!!

When you say what it will look like tonight, forgive my lack of knowledge, what is different tonight???

PS: Last time i saw the Empire state the Daleks were blowing it up, (thoose pesky Daleks)

The Empire state building's classic lighting is all white, but many times a year they use different lighting to celebrate holidays -- blue and white for Hanukkah, red and green for Christmas, all blue when the Giants (American football, Andrew;) ) won the Super Bowl, red, white and blue for Independence day, etc., etc. It was even tan and brown for the 10th anniversary of the Lion King on B'way!

I think my family prefers the EPCOT resorts more.......especially BW, BC and YC. They like the MGM park the most so they like getting there fast!:thumbsup2

My all time favorite resort is Beach Club, and our favorite park is Epcot . . .:thumbsup2
