I just paid off the deposit on the back to back cruise's! Ouch!
I have to go now as I cannot get a refund!

Thats kind of a nice position to be in. I've paid the deposit on a credit card so technically it's paid off but in the back of my mind I know that if things get really bad I can cancel at the 90 day mark and pull out but I'm putting that thought at the very back of my mind and not really thinking about it

Fuel surcharge........at first, I was given a hard time and then I stated that I didn't book early to pay extra fees which "may" be taken off June 2010. I wasn't happy to hear that.......ridiculous.......fortunately, DCL came through.

This is all so very true. Tons of people shopping AND buying and hardly anyone to help on the floor and long check out lines.

This is the way I have seen it, most offers online, ( save money) the main shops very full, long lines no Christmas temporary staff this year, long queues, I just walk back out again!

Honestly, where I was on Sunday, the crowds were very light, much lighter than the week before........I'm sure it will get worse from now on , but it really wasn't too busy yesterday?? And, the sales were crazy good, it was kinda creepy (in a really good way! )

I have found some things are down Car sales, banks, anythnig 'large' like holidays, I know travel agents who say everyone is just cancelling.
But my main shops are rammed with people.

Hey that sounds like a bloody good idea especially as the nearest pub is about 7 mins walking distance on the village green and there are a couple of good resturants just next door and the pub is attached to a Travel Lodge.

I do not think its the new ships, or the Alaska annoucement yet.

Hey Ballyhooers!

Just popping in to say Hi. i'll sure be glad when this rotation is over! I'm learning a heck of a lot, which is the idea, but I'm exhausted and way behind on the Christmas preparations this year. I have my last presentation tomorrow, and I finish up next Fri (or hopefully Thursday, as long as Idocument 250 patient interactions). I already documented my 5 Adverse drug reactions, so that's done. And only 2 more papers to write. I see a light at the end of this small tunnell. Then after a few weeks for winter break, I start 3 back-to-back 5 week rotations....then graduation!!!

Not that I want to wish the time away, but i can't wait!

Oh well, better get back to my presentation. Have a great night.
