One month from today, we will be in Kusadasi! What will you be doing? This is the one port I don't have a clue what to do!

In Kusadasi, we are doing a private tour that goes to Mary's House, the Terrace houses, Ephasus and lunch at a family's country home. I'm really excited about going to Turkey!

Last year we did Ephesus, Didymus and Miletus with Lunch and it was fantastic! This year we are going to do the country tour? Can't recall exactly what it is called.

i would recommend an all day tour here and go out and see as much as possible. It was our hilight last year...but skip the carpet demonstration. It was hard sell and scary...ugh. Practically RAN out of there.

We are also doing a private tour visiting the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus; the Temple of Hadrian; The Grand Theater; The House of Virgin Mary; St. John’s Basilica; Artemission Temple and Kusadasi Town Center.

Sounds like too much for a single day but they insist with the length of time we are in port we will get it all in.

Speaking of which, has anyone figured out the correct All-Aboard time for Ephesus? The DCL website says 4:45pm, but we just received our printed materials and it is listed as 6:45pm.

Abacab, it's still listed as two different times internally too. I am making plans for a 4:45 departure, and will hit up the carpet demonstration if it's the later departure.

I would love to go to it just to watch and learn bartering, but am afraid it would horrify my kids. Then again, just that thought alone makes me laugh.

OK okay, I will take y'all advice and look into a private tour here and hit up Ephestus and the House of the Virgin Mary. She's my patron saint anyways, would be kind of nice to add her to the "Mom's Insist List of Patron Saints" for my family.

My kids are going to hate me.

Hello! We are so excited to join this group on DCL. I just found out about DIS. What a great way to prepare! I am also new to the fish extenders. If it's not too late, we'd like to join the fun. We are a family of 4 with an 8 year old girl and 5 year old boy. If it's too late we totally understand. What a great adventure we will all be on soon!

Welcome!! Be sure to join the Facebook page as there is a lot of activity and information over there. Sadly, it is too late to join the fish extender exchange. The closing date was May 15 because participants needed time to make, buy or assemble their gifts before the trip.

Which resort? I am currently booked at Mykonos Palace, but that beach looks so crowded to me. I just sent an inquiry to Saint Johns and the Mykonos Grand.
