7/13/13 ~~ Eastern Mediterranean Mouseketeers!

Does anyone know if we will be at the New Port in Tourlos or anchoring offshore and taking tender boats into the village for Mykonos?
The only 2 ports that have 'tender' listed next to them on my itinerary are Villefranche and La Spezia, so it looks like we'll be at the new port in Mykonos. Hopefully DCL will provide a free shuttle to the town. I've read some cruise lines charging $10/pp for this even though its a very short ride.

There is bus service from Toulos into Mykonos for 1.70E for adults. It is bus route #3.

The busses depart from the New Port of Mykonos to the Old port of Mykonos Town at : 09:35 10:35 , 11:35, 12:35, 13:35, 14:35, 16:05, 18:05, 19:05 ,20:05 21:05, 22:05. 24:05

The buses depart from the old port for Tourlos and Agios Stefanos at :

09:30 , 10:30 , 11:30, 12:30 , 13:30 ,14:30, 16:00, 18:00, 19:00, 20:00 ,21:00, 22:00 23:00 24:00

The 2014 Med cruises were released today and I am glad I jumped on this cruise a year earlier than initially planned. The equivalent cruise next year in Mid July is only to Turkey, several greek islands and Malta.

Yes, I agree I am very happy with our cruise!! I really wasn't that happy with the 2014 releases.

Joan

You can book on March 15? We have to wait until March 30 and we are GOLD. You must be platinum or concierge. Lucky you.

What excursions are you booking? I'm decided to, although I'm debating two in Turkey and two in France. I have back-ups too, just in case.

Sorry for the delay in response, just got back from a quick trip to WDW last night.

Yes, we are platinum members. This will be our 18th Disney Cruise.

So far our wish list includes:
Monaco, Monte Carlo and Eze
Pisa Climbing the Tower (our almost 12 year old was too young in 2007 and really wants to do this)
The Best of Rome
Acropolis Sightseeing and Culinary
Delos
Ephesus and Aquapark
Gozo

Anyone booking 2014 med cruises again? I booked the 9 day venice greek islands.

Not sure if we will keep it, depends on how much we like the same ports this year and if we can afford it, but its booked anyway!

I booked the WB trans Atlantic 14 night cruise from Barcelona to Puerto Rico September 2014. It was such a steal of a price too good to pass up. Great ports too.

Looks like my mom is going to redo it with my brother. The 12 night that goes to all of the Greek islands. We are going to book the Castaway Quay double dip on November 13th tomorrow.

We're booking Venice to Barcelona 12 night (with all the Greek ports). Very excited. Glad DCL decided to offer some new iteneraries.

My favorite one was the 12 night that was from Barcelona to Venice but its only in June and the kids are still in school at that time having exams so I can't do it:(

I liked the 12 night Venice to Barcelona but we want to go to Portugal for two weeks post cruise so it'll have to be the 9 night. Price wasn't too bad...$8800 for two 10c. We paid $7800 for 2 11B on the NYE Fantasy Cruise this year so only $1000 for two more days and in Europe seems reasonable.

If my oldest son gets in the the WDW International College Exchange program then there will only be 4 of us and we can just get one cabin and it'll only cost us $5800!

Super excited because we got our Paris Passes yesterday for our precruise Paris trip. Its getting closer.

Anyone thinking of booking the Colosseum Dungeon tour? If so, who are you booking with?

tagz - we are using an archeologist Cristina Giannicchi and her company for the Coliseum. Not specifically doing the underground but an archeologist may be the way to go. Cristina Giannicchi www.crisacross.com. Her company was recommended by Rick Steves Mediterranean cruising book and she was very highly rated on trip advisor.

If I like Greece enough this year, we'll be booking the Greek Isle with Venice next year. Providing I can handle the heat!!!:firefight

Thank you ;) all info is appreciated.

Booked for 2014 - Orville and slg - my mom will and brother, wife and kids will be joining you on Venice to Barcelona.

I am booked on the Dream Castaway Quay double dip - room 2519.

I assume several guests canceled their reservations for this year and moved them because there is more availability for our sailing this morning then there has been the last few months. Of course, the price didn't drop.

:) I'm holding on. No backing out!

Booked the Dungeon / Underground tour at the Colosseum yesterday. Now deciding what else I should do in Rome....
