Anyways, good luck on your decision!
I won't try to convince you of one direction or the other but rather want to just encourage you to vote. I know how overwhelming everything can be during any election and this one seems is much more so than any I can remember.

If you are seriously stuck, why not make a list. List those items which are most important to you, ie: unemployment rate, spending/deficit, war on terror, defense, character, pro-life vs pro-choice, etc. Rank those items from most to least important and then put the name of the candidate who you agree with most on each topic next to that topic and count whose name is listed most.

I know I'm running the risk of being called insensitive and a host of other things, but I cannot imagine someone not having their mind made up by now. Now, if you were leaning Kerry I can certainly see why you might be confused on what his positions are TODAY, because they likely changed from YESTERDAY. But, at it's core both candidates have not drastically changed over the past 9 months. It should be pretty clear where they stand.

I tell them to vote for Nader or stay home and save the gas.

Wow...regardless of who a person is voting for, I cannot imagine telling someone not to vote.

What do you think one does when they support a candidate by putting a campaign sign on their lawn?
