.

Try putting her diaper on backwards. Sometimes that slows them down a bit. :p

If you can't fix it, duct it! LOL, this was a monthly discussion at my local twins club when mine were younger. I remember one particular little Picasso who liked to draw on the walls with it. I know that some people put their pj's on backwards so that the tots could not get out of them.

In all seriousness, if this is being done before you can get the child up in the morning, duct tape that diaper closed!

Good Luck. When my dd started doing that (also at 2) I potty trained her. It went pretty fast. My ds (2) is actually running around nakey right now. For some reason he's potty trained naked (no accidents) but he'll sit aorund in wet undies like its big thing. I picked out his underwear so i'm hoping maybe by taking him to Target and letting him pick out his own, maybe that will improve the situation. He just turned 2 so no rush, but it'd be nice if he was pottytrained in time for our cruise next summer.

My 2 year old DD is doing that too. We've taken to checking Ms. Naked Tush right before we go to bed so she doesn't wake up cold or wet. I'm finding that she takes it off while winding down to fall asleep - so waiting a couple hours and dressing her is working so far. That and during the day we have been putting her in outfits that have a onsie involved so it is a bit more of a challenge for her to undress herself.

We are working on training too, but so far she will sit and wipe, but nothing in between.

My 2 yo dd loves to bring me her "dry hiney" simply because she could take it off. I now have to put a pair of shorts on her that snap and zip up the front so she can not get to her pull up. This is defeating my purpose because she is in pull ups to potty train. This is the child that can talk to me in complete sentences but WILL NOT POTTY ON THE BIG POTTY  I have no other complaints about her behavior (thank goodness) except the potty thing. You would think with 3 older sisters she would have had this whole thing figured out.

LOL my thoughts exactly!!

Duct tape the miracle cure!

 :rotfl:

Mine did it too - it passes. He also did it while winding down in bed. It shocked the beegesus out of me a couple of times. Now it doesn't happen anymore - he is day time potty trained.

My almost three year old dd is still pooping in her pants. She will peee on the potty. She will sleep and go all day without having a diaper. But, still manages to poop in her pants.

"ooooooo ma ma I did ca ca"

My DD 2yr 4mo just went to the potty for the first time last night!!! What a breakthrough. We have been trying to get her to go for awhile now and it finally happened.:Pinkbounc She is not Houdini like the others here but it's the same subject.

Our next task after mastering the toilet is to get her to spit when she brushes her teeth. Her way of spitting is to say "puh, puh". Although it is very cute, it is not very effective. Any ideas?

Backwards won't work, she just pushes on her diaper until it comes off. Duct tape would have to be to her skin and that might hurt.;) Let's hope this too soon passes.........

sounds like she's ready for potty training. If you are going to potty train her, some good tips:

1. no pull-ups
2. make her go every hour on the hour, and then right before naps, and bedtime
3. no more drinks 2 hours before bed except water, and even then 1 hour before bed no drinks including water
4. lots and lots of praises
5. don't get mad when she has an accident
6. get a waterproof pad.
