.

You could do both. We are! Our trip is planned for October, but we HAD to get new furniture. So we went to Rooms to Go and bought a living room set. Have until 2006 to pay it off, but we'll do it well before that since we pay more than the minimum each month.

Love 0% financing!

I think if you plan wisely you can do both. put money down on trip, put furniture on layaway and make payments. I do this all the time and it works out well, it is all in how you work the money! go out and see if you can find something comp. to what you already picked out- that is cheaper, then try to do the same with your trip!

We went back to look at the couch again with our carpet sample and it TOTALLY doesn't match. So we're not buying furniture now. We're still saving and WDW is still in our future. Once we have the money we'll see where we can get a better deal ~ WDW or a furniture store. ;) Thanks for all your help.

We got slightly used furniture at more than 60% off. Looks great, matches with our house, we love it! We also got matching tables.

Look around, you may be surprised.

I would get the furniture and save to visit WDW the end of 2005 when Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show will be open in MGM and Soarin' will be open in Epcot or wait a while longer and visit when Expedition Everest opens.
