I sounds just like my house but I have 2 DD's (9). I think that it is the hormones starting to kick in. Our pedi told me that kids now a days are starting to develop earlier than they were 20 -25 yrs ago.

I hope that it works out. They probably will forget about this when school starts. Luckily for me it was this week.

I learned this the hard way....

Boys can be just as , if not more, emotional as girls. My son too went throught the "he's not my friend aymore" stuff all the time. Just give some extra hugs and hopefully it will all be better tomorrow.

I agree...give them time and don't interfere. As hard as it is, our kids need to learn how to handle their friendships themselves.

My DS is 10 and he has had the same bunch of friends forever, however over the last couple of years there's been drama. One day he hates Chris, the next day Chris is the best thing ever...same thing with Nicholas, and Foster, and the rest of them. As they grow older they start to grow apart because they are changing. It's totally normal.
