EDIT: I am now guessing that tomorrow once it's hit a day where I have a hotel reservation 60 days out the computer is smart enough to know I can book.

Hi everyone!

First time to WDW coming up Jan 6 and I was just confirming everything is ready so I can get up at 4am PST to book our Fast Passes as it's 60 days tomorrow!! Our hotel is linked, our tickets are linked but when I went to book a pass for fun to see the next screen it says I can book until Dec 6 not JANUARY!! Do I call in, did I make a mistake? Feeling pretty stupid for leaving it til now to check :eeyore:

I can't be positive but when it came to my dining ADRs, it had the wrong number of days for me even the day (hours) before I was to make my 180 day ADRs. As soon as the clock turned to 6:00 a.m. (or whatever the correct time is for beginning to make ADRs) magically, it opened up for me. Perhaps your FP+s will do the same thing?? Hopefully, others will confirm whether or not this is the case.

Check out the FP FAQ. I'm no FP expert, but I think I see this question pop up about once a week. The answer is that it will show up on day 60 and you'll be able to book FP without issue. It has something to do with how you booked tickets.

Booking Windows

- The booking window opens at 7:00a Eastern Time each day.

- Onsite guests can book FPs for their entire stay, for as many days as they have tickets for. The maximum number of days is at least 14—reliable data beyond this number is unclear. Practically speaking, this means FPs can be booked for more than 70 days away.
  • For onsite guests with a room/ticket package, the 60-day prebooking window will not appear until the 60-day mark. Before this point, it is normal for various members and/or their tickets to not appear on the MDX account. The entire traveling party and their tickets will appear at the 60-day mark in almost all cases. It is generally not possible to practice booking FPs beforehand in this situation.
  • For onsite guests with a room-only reservation, the 60-day prebooking window will not appear until the 60-day mark, assuming valid tickets are attached to the account. Before this point only a 30-day window (from the current day) will be active, again assuming valid tickets are attached to the account. It is possible to practice booking FPs using this 30-day window.
  • If a guest has more resort days booked than ticket days in the MDX account, the FPs can be scheduled on any days during the stay. For example, if a guest has a 5-day stay from Monday to Friday but only 3 days of tickets, FPs can be scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Can I tag a question on here...!

I am also going to WDW for the first time, albeit next year so nowhere near my 60 day mark. Worth stating here, we are going for 21 days (I know that probably sounds a bit crazy, but neither me nor my fiancee have ever been and we have essentially everything in Florida you can probably think of on our itinirary!).

I notice the FAQ above says that details on vacations longer than 14 days for FP are a bit sketchy, does that mean some have been able to book longer than 74 days, and some haven't? I just found that a little confusing. If this length of stay is a bit rare, I am happy to provide the outcome of our fastpasses to you all on here to aid the FAQ going forwards!

What kind of passes do you have? The up to 10 day passes expire 14 days after first use, so you wouldn't be able to make FP for the whole trip. AP only allow 7 days of FP. Those are mostly why trips longer than 74 days are murky.

It’s explained in the FP FAQ ADDENDUM that is also a Sticky. :)

The package we got with TUI (UK Holiday company - maybe I should have stated that, we are from the UK) included a 21 day Ultimate Ticket with Memorymaker, we are staying at Pop Century.

I'm from the UK too - we're going for 16 nights and bought the 14 day Ultimate Tickets. On my FP+ day a few weeks ago, I was able to book up to 60+15 in one go. Annoyingly, it was only our final day we couldn't get :joker: I think your mileage may vary though, I'd read that it would only allow +12 so I was surprised that I could book so far in advance

Please read the FP FAQ ADDENDUM. You can book for the length of your ticket after the initial window opens.

From the FP FAQ ADDENDUM:
“Booking for Onsite Stays Longer Than 14 Days

When the 60-day FP Booking Window opens for an onsite stay of longer than 14 days, you'll be able to book up to a maximum of 14 consecutive days.

After this, your ability to book for additional park days continues with each passing day. The open 60-day Booking Window continually rolls forward each day allowing you to book for your total number of onsite park days.“

If this is unclear, please let me know as I did write this info based on info from DISers with extremely long onsite stays.
