My 4 kids (2,4,6,8) and I are taking my mom to WDW for her 60th b-day at the end of January (Jan27-Feb1). We booked Hoop-de-doo revue for her actual b-day night dinner.
This is her first trip to Disney (our 3rd, with a fairly recent one in March/April . . . insane crowds, so I'm looking forward to a more mellow WDW with Jan. crowds) and I can promise you there is NO ONE in the whole world who is more excited about spending her 60th b-day in Disney with her grandbabies!!
What can we do to make the trip extra special for her? Can we get b-day cakes or special recognition or anything for her? I'm willing to pay (undercover, so she doesn't see) if necessary. Do the parks do anything other than the b-day pin/button??
We are staying at Pop, got connecting rooms . . .
My mom is truly such a giving, unselfish person who lives for her kids and grandkids and would do anything for us. This trip is a serious luxury for her, something we could never have afforded when I was a child. I really just want to do everything I can to make it extra-extra-magic for her.
I'd love any ideas you DIS-ers have -- I thought I was organized and knowledgeable on my last 2 trips b/c I read the Unofficial Guide . . . wow, you guys seriously put me to shame!!!
Thanks!
