This is our planned itinerary: check into a WDW resort on say a Sunday. Tour a WDW park that same Sunday. Cruise Mon-Thur. Then back to WDW the following Thursday at a different hotel onsite. Does our 60 day advance window for entire WDW Park days start with the first Sunday and run through for the following weekend?

Or does the 60 day clock for the FP+ reset for check in to second hotel on back end?

Since you have two non-sequential (key word) reservations, you’ll have two separate 60 day FP window dates.

My experience with split stays after they changed tickets to date based was that it was two separate FP windows.

You will probably need 2 separate tickets. Price out the options to see what’s best. The “flexible” option can be a hefty upcharge but would allow one ticket to be valid for both visits. Or I believe if you book “land and sea” through DCL they have tickets that will remain valid for pre- and post-cruise visits. A few options to check.

That only applies if there is a break in your stay. If it's just a change in resorts with no skipped on site days, FP's are all bookable on the same date.
