Yay for finishing up early! The more Disney time the better!

Absolutely!

I just love the pic of Mark and Dumbo

Thank you.

And I am not a Stars Wars fan but that shirt is awesome!!

I'm not either, but the shirt had to come home with us.

You don't like Cracker Barrel?! Oh my!! LOVE that place. I have yet to try Waffle House but I have heard great things about the food.

Nope; and they are all over around here. UGH!

The Dolphin looks great and wow!! What a room upgrade! I love it.

I did too.

So happy nicer weather has found its way into Chicago! Happy Spring

Me too; except it's supposed to be crummy now through Sunday. Happy Spring to you too.

Now there's a wonderful idea..........and she's a real sweetie too!!! ;)

Yes she is; but if she catches you picking on her big sis you'll be in big trouble; she might be little, but she is tough!

You go Rosie!!! :woohoo: Agree they are much better if you prepare them just right with some additional ingredients! :goodvibes

:sick::sick::sick:

Okay, I was beginning to think it was just a Chicago thing, but I guess not....... :)

We're just a little smarter in Chicago. :p

I'm trying to figure out why I keep hanging around Kathy's TRs... neither of us likes the other's favorite resort, she doesn't like Cracker Barrel, but she does like the Awful Waffle, she's addicted to Starbucks and doesn't like Mexican... I really don't even know if I can take anything away from her dining reviews since our tastes are so obviously different. :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

You caught my "second" favorite resort with a bunch of morons staying there; your favorite resort was just very rude to us. Like I told Marv, there's always the cute Italian's reviews you can go to. ;)

Marvali....yes, you can rule that thought out! haha. I Love CB :)

You and I have to be in touch about getting together BEFORE I go to Florida.

I don't have to take this...................

I'm staying and from now on I'm going to be a pest!!!

Hmm....isn't that what you were doing before?

And how is that different from any other day...:rolleyes1

Thank you, Molly...love you.

It means I get to act more like Molly!!! :thumbsup2 ::yes::

Don't you dare start on my Molly!

Touche Marvie.

And you should probably expect that this comment will get you into trouble with Kathy. We girls stick together!:thumbsup2 For the record, I am NEVER a pest, quite the opposite actually. My darling hubby can attest to that (for the most part). Can Ali say that about you?;) Boy do I wish she was on the DIS so she could see the shabby way you treat some of us, sniffle sniffle.

I'm always here for you girlfriend! Marv has a lot of nerve especially with how long it's taken him to write a TR.

Hmmm... time to highjack a TR??? :rolleyes1

Haven't you boys already done that?

::yes:: I've always said that Sci-Fi tends to be underrated and has a bad reputation, but you're 100% right about that one.

I really like Sci Fi. Does that mean you'll stick around?

Hooray! We're back home!

Isn't it great saying thata?

Any picture of the gates is a good one, if you ask me.:thumbsup2

A very good point,, Mark.

That room view is pretty awesome. I can imagine that made you love the Dolphin resort a whole bunch.

It sure helped; it also made me think of you a lot. ;)

:rotfl::rotfl2::lmao:

I think I'm in the same boat! I guess variety is the spice of life.

(But 50's PT >> Sci-Fi)

Are you leaving with the other guys, Mark? Don't let the door hit you on the way out. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

All right, you folks have arrived at WDW! I haven't seen too much about the Dolphin, other than the outside of it.

Yes, Glenn, we have. It really is a very nice resort and I can see why the people who have stayed there have loved it.

That Darth Vader shirt is AWESOME! I'll need to find one of those! :darth:

We could not resist that shirt.

The ones with the balconies are much more appealing to me than the ones in the background with no open windows or space to walk outside from the room.

Yes, having the balcony made it even more appealing.

So happy and relaxed! :)

We were...but we always are at Disney.

Another vote for Cracker Barrel here.

It's okay...seems I am outnumbered here.

Nice animal pics.
I would love to feed giraffes.

You guys should go to the zoo there...it's a really nice zoo.

OMG! That chicken and waffles is huge. I have never had that but it looks good.

I couldn't believe it when they brought out the plate.

The room at the Dolphin looked nice. Do they charge for parking?
I am all caught up again.

Yes, there is a parking fee as well as a resort fee...the only downside to the place in my opinion.

AWESOME pictures Kathy!!! the Dolphin looks great with your VIEW!!! holy cow that is AMAZING!
what is it you got Mark??? some ambassador?!?

Thanks, Mo. It truly was an amazing view.

I'm not sure I understand your question...or what you are referring to.

So I left you with our walking from the Dolphin over to the Yacht Club for our ADR.

We arrived a little too early, so we stopped at the gift shops in the Beach Club and the Yacht Club and Mark decided to give all of my DIS friends what they like best...hat pictures:

We slowly made our way over to the Yachtsman. I stopped in the ladies room before we got there and Mark took this photo of me as I exited:

And then we were here:

We had to wait about 15 minutes for our table. A picture of some of the night's offerings:

Ceiling fixture in the room we were seated:

And now I present our food and beverages:

My drink

(Very yummy)

Mark's beer

Bread

(out of this world)

Mark's wedge salad

(he didn't really care for it...too much other junk on it as he put it)

Mark and I both had the filet and a baked potato

Dinner was spectacular...just as good as December and we will definitely be going back. The only thing that put a damper on the evening was the child in the high chair in the room next to us (I had a view of her through a cut out in the wall) who screamed for an hour while her parents and the rest of the people laughed, drank and talked. It was a little annoying in a signature restaurant. The entire table totally ignored her.

Our waiter graciously took a picture of us after dinner:

Up next, dessert on the Boardwalk and a view of Mickey Mouse

Can I have that drink? Anything with a pineapple wedge or inside of a pineapple sounds so good right now! :lmao:

What happened to respectful people who care about their kids? So many parents nowadays care about their happiness and no one else's. When ours were little we'd take them outside 'til they calmed down. It was probably something as simple as a wet diaper, but yet they ignored the kid and ruined your atmosphere at the same time. :sad2:

Okay...for ALL the ladies who like CB, I'll give it another try. :goodvibes

:cool1: :goodvibes

Yachtsman looks good. I though Mark's salad looked a little " busy" for a wedge salad. :lmao:

As always love the hat pictures and you guys looks like youu had a great time.

Hi Kathy! Love the update with YSH! I see the infamous Pina Colada that you recommended! ;) That's so annoying about the baby - more so because the family ignored her. Errr... I'm looking forward to YSH in August. :thumbsup2

I finally got to see the Dolphin hotel thanks to your lovely photos! The view of ToT is like no other in WDW - that's awesome!

I agree, your WDW sign photo is perfect. We'll not mind seeing it make future appearances. :flower3:

How exciting that next month is an epic month with WDW and the wedding. :cheer2:

Please tell Mr. Mark that I appreciate his hat photo efforts very much. :goodvibes

Your room looked really nice, and what a view!

I can't wait to try the Yachtsman this summer. Glad to see yet another glowing review of the food and drink!

yee-haw Mark in the cowboy hat :thumbsup2
dinner looks very good! the salad does look a bit weird though!

wow on the screaming kid, funny the CM's didn't ask them to take care of it, some people just shouldn't be parents!

The YM looks as wonderful as ever, so glad you guys enjoyed it again! I am so happy you are branching out to try new places, it pays to listen to me huh LOL! :rotfl:

LOVE YOU!

Yes, really. We went to Starbucks. I'll try not to mention every other time we went during this trip.
But then I'll have to point out every morning that you left out the part about Starbucks. See, you just can't win. :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Almost as good as the picture I have of us driving under it.

Hmmm....I don't seem to remember that picture.
This one... just wish Mom could have gotten it centered a little better. :lmao:

You caught my "second" favorite resort with a bunch of morons staying there; your favorite resort was just very rude to us. Like I told Marv, there's always the cute Italian's reviews you can go to. ;)
You're not getting rid of us that easy. :wave2:

I really like Sci Fi. Does that mean you'll stick around?
Well, I was agreeing with Mark that 50's is better, but yes, I do like Sci-Fi. And like I said, you're not getting rid of us that easy. pirate:

We arrived a little too early, so we stopped at the gift shops in the Beach Club and the Yacht Club and Mark decided to give all of my DIS friends what they like best...hat pictures
Wouldn't be a KatMark TR without them. :thumbsup2

We slowly made our way over to the Yachtsman. I stopped in the ladies room before we got there and Mark took this photo of me as I exited
Could have been a little awkward if someone else had stepped out that door instead of you... :rolleyes1

We had to wait about 15 minutes for our table. A picture of some of the night's offerings
You had to wait 15 minutes??? In the picture of the 2 of you, the place doesn't look very crowded at all!

Mark and I both had the filet and a baked potato
Well, I guess there is some food that we agree on. :thumbsup2:rotfl2:

Yachtsman is another one on my list that I'd like to try sometime. I agree with Mark that the salad has too much "stuff" on it, way too fancy for me! :rotfl: But the steak looks delicious.

What is it about guys taking pictures when we come out of the bathroom?:confused3 I have a similar picture of me coming out of a Tomorrowland bathroom that DH took on our Honeymoon.

I LIKE Cowboy Mark!

The food looks amazing. I will get thre someday. I had a reservation for last Nov. but it was just going to be cutting it too close, so I canceled it.

KatMark;48249482 I enrolled Mark as a Starwood member. Our wonderful CM saw that we were Starwood members and upgraded us to a "view of the lake." [/QUOTE said:
What is the starwood member?!?!?

Love the updates and LOVE LOVE LOVE the hats!!! :lovestruc you guys are awesome!!! may i ask how long you have been married?

Dinner looked great although that salad was whacky! Can't wait to eat at Yachtsman next week!

Jill in CO

Goodness gracious, that steak and potato looks pretty darn good this morning. My peanut butter and crackers ain't going to cut it this morning. ;)

I never understood parents who just let their child(ren) sit there screaming and crying and them not check to see what's making them upset. That's so stupid to me.

Can I have that drink? Anything with a pineapple wedge or inside of a pineapple sounds so good right now! :lmao:

I'm with you...I could go for one right now too. And it was sooooooooooooooo good.

What happened to respectful people who care about their kids? So many parents nowadays care about their happiness and no one else's. When ours were little we'd take them outside 'til they calmed down. It was probably something as simple as a wet diaper, but yet they ignored the kid and ruined your atmosphere at the same time. :sad2:

Unfortunately, as I've said in the past, we have become a very "ME" self-centered population. It really is sad.

Yachtsman looks good. I though Mark's salad looked a little " busy" for a wedge salad. :lmao:

You should have seen his face when it came out. :lmao:

As always love the hat pictures and you guys looks like youu had a great time.

Thanks, Pat, and we did.

Hi Kathy! Love the update with YSH! I see the infamous Pina Colada that you recommended! ;) That's so annoying about the baby - more so because the family ignored her. Errr... I'm looking forward to YSH in August. :thumbsup2

We are not going in August, but I think we will try again in December. You will love that Pina Colada!

I finally got to see the Dolphin hotel thanks to your lovely photos! The view of ToT is like no other in WDW - that's awesome!

It truly was.

I agree, your WDW sign photo is perfect. We'll not mind seeing it make future appearances. :flower3:

Thank you, Brenda.

How exciting that next month is an epic month with WDW and the wedding. :cheer2:

I cannot believe that my son is getting married in 43 days. It seems he was just in diapers.

Please tell Mr. Mark that I appreciate his hat photo efforts very much. :goodvibes

I will pass it on.

Your room looked really nice, and what a view!

It was spectacular.

I can't wait to try the Yachtsman this summer. Glad to see yet another glowing review of the food and drink!

I really think you and hubby and Maddie will love it.

yee-haw Mark in the cowboy hat :thumbsup2
dinner looks very good! the salad does look a bit weird though!

Dinner was very yummy, and a very odd salad indeed.

wow on the screaming kid, funny the CM's didn't ask them to take care of it, some people just shouldn't be parents!

Totally agree!

The YM looks as wonderful as ever, so glad you guys enjoyed it again! I am so happy you are branching out to try new places, it pays to listen to me huh LOL! :rotfl:

LOVE YOU!

Yes, mom...I will learn to listen to you more often. :goodvibes
