6 weeks out and still no WOC dining package for October...

I've also been waiting -- day after day for this darn October schedule to come out! It's killing me that not only can I not make my WoC dessert party reservation, but I don't know the park operating hours. I hope it comes out sometime this week!

It is hard when other aspects of a vacation (flights/hotels) have to be planned so far in advance, yet the details about the actual purpose of the vacation come at the last minute. It's like booking a trip to Paris and not knowing if the Louvre will be open.

It's a pain waiting for the WOC reservations for October to open.
Even though the park hours aren't out for October yet, I found a way to have an idea of what the hours might be....

Plaza Inn CB's first reservation of the day is 10 minutes after the park opens.
Blue Bayou's last reservation is 1 hour before the park closes.

Sooooo..... Try this for your dates.
October 24th it looks like the Disneyland will open at 7am
Go to the Disney website and open the Plaza Inn reservation page.
Click on the date you're wanting the opening park time.
The information will be noted in the box.

For park closing, it's the same thing using Blue Bayou.
October 25th it looks like the park will close at 11pm.

This is awesome! Thank you SO MUCH!
:disrocks:

I hope it is reliable... No guarantees...
But until Disney gets it together it's all I've been working with for my October dates.

Glad you like it.

so funny I was just looking at reservations to figure this out about an hour ago.. We both defiantly are both over planners.. I love it..

This is officially ridiculous. My entire vacation unraveled because of the unexpected shift from Monday parties, and now we're a month from October and we have nothing. It's becoming impossible for anyone but a local to get the most out of a Disneyland trip.

Yup it is.. us over planners are losing our minds haha... My biggest concern is we have 7 in our party and am thinking that getting fantasmic package might be hard. Tomorrow I will try to get our Fantasmic dinner reservation and can relax and wait for WOC Des :rolleyes1

Don't even feel crazy! I don't think one month is overplanning at all. With the amount of money we are spending, I feel like one month is cutting it pretty close. 30 days is a very short amount of time to narrow down dining times based on the non existent schedule and other things, especially if you have a large party of people that you need to work around.

DL has issues...

Many of the place that make dining reservations DO have the schedule open.
Blue Bayou is scheduling out as far as October 27th, that's two months. Even the Fantasmic dinner packages are open.

The only dining type reservations that aren't open, are for WOC. Those only go through the end of September.

So for the most part Disney does have the schedule open for making ADR @ 60days

Park hours and schedules are another thing.

The 7 am opening sounds like a EMH. to make use of it you have to a. have a 3 day hopper or longer, b. being staying on site or c. have a reservation for Plaza Inn.

You DO NOT have to have EE/MM to make a 7:10 reservation at the Plaza Inn. You'll only need a valid park ticket for the day.
They ask you to enter through a special gate on the side DTD side of all the gates.
There a CM will have a list of people with reservations. Your name on the list gets you in.

If you have MM ask them not to count it as your MM day. Then you can use MM on one of your later days in the trip.

I know that. I meant that if the 7 am park open is a an EE MM you need one of the list a, b or c not a, b and c. sorry if I didnt communicate that clearly.

Good tip, but I think the 7 am opening is for the EE/MM opening (same for the early hours on 10/26, Thursday); so I'd say opening at 8 a.m.

Based on this (which I am not relying on... but wanted to see), the dates I'll be there look like they will be a consistent 8 am until 11 pm, although I didn't check Saturday opening, as I'm not arriving until mid-day.

Hopefully in a few days we'll know for sure...

Count me in as waiting and slowly loosing my mind! I just need the WOC DP and it's driving me nuts!! I'm definitely an over-planner thanks to my many WDW trips. It's giving me anxiety that it still isn't out - especially because most other things are out! What is the holdup??

This is awesome. We'll be there the 11th-14th! It is nice to have an idea of the park hours.

I don't even need to schedule anything specific, but I just want to see what their hours are going to be like in October, and what might be down! (But I'm grateful Disneyland is more flexible. We've talked about a WDW trip in a few years, even just me and my husband, and the level of non-flexible planning involved makes my
head spin!)

I check this morning and still nothing for October

But when I just checked at noon, here's what I found...
2017-08-29 01.JPG
The calendar is beginning to appear!!!! Isn't that a lovely shade of blue on the dates in October?
I clicked on my request and got nothing...
So I called to have a CM make my reservation.
They said while the calendar is there, it doesn't go ACTIVE until Wednesday.
Today the reservation information is being loaded into the system.

MARK your calendars. WEDNESDAY is our day for October RESERVATION!!!
