6 weeks out and still no WOC dining package for October...

I know it's the WDW veteran in me... I just like to have all my reservations booked, to kind of know what I'm doing. I LOVE how much less planning I have to do when we visit DLR, and the fact that I can still get a reservation somewhere basically the 'day of', but ugh, when I'm waiting for just one more, I thought I'd for sure have it at the 6 week mark!

Gosh I can't believe it's not out yet.. Does it have something to do with it being Halloween time I wonder?

We are going in 3 weeks and they just barely released the entertainment schedule. Seriously, Disneyland needs to get it together.

Completely agree! I'm sure someone will be along to say "You don't want to book and then they change the hours, do you?" But 6 weeks isn't that far off. I can tell you what I'll be doing at work 6 weeks from now, and no one books trips around my work schedule. But people book flights and hotels 6 months or more in advance. DL should be able to at least get us 12 weeks/3 months in advance. How hard could it possibly be?

Park hours aren't showing up like you'd expect either.

Maybe it is related to the start of the new fiscal year? In any event I hope they release the tables/times soon!

It's an on going issue for Disneyland.

Not sure why it has to be this way. You'd think they'd get it figured out!!!!

That's what I was thinking as well. There always seems to be an issue when the "seasons" change. I wonder if they're still trying to guesstimate how things will be with the new DCA HalloweenTime offerings and whether that means one or two WoC showings and longer than historic hours, etc. Hopefully they'll get the info up soon, but I wouldn't be surprised if took a few more weeks.

I've been waiting for Oct. 7 for the dessert party. I ended up booking Hungry Bear for F! in case WOC never pops up, but I don't really care for F! myself. I'll be with a daughter who hasn't seen it yet, though.

We are not going till the end of October and it is driving me insane not having park hours etc I feel for you all going early October. Come on Disney help us planners out and give us something on the October Calendar. I did notice I could switch from September to October now but it is blank I got so excited lol

We just got back from Disneyland last week (we're typically at WDW) and absolutely loved the way Disneyland handles this sort of thing...I tend to think that maybe it's WDW that needs to get their act together and not force us all to plan so far in advance. It is such a relief not to have to worry six months in advance about exactly what day we want to eat at which restaurant...and not to have to worry about booking Fastpasses 60 days in advance. But we've learned to adapt to whichever coast we're going to and just deal with it as needed. Even so, I can appreciate the frustrations of being forced into a 180-day planning zone of WDW and then not even knowing when certain things are occurring just a few weeks out at DL.

For the original poster, for what it's worth, we had zero problems getting a lunchtime World of Color dining package at Carthay Circle roughly one week in advance.

I am anxiously waiting for the WOC schedule too. I keep looking every day to see if I can book dinner at Wine Country. I feel for all of us that can't make reservations early. Hahaha!

It was the same last year. I think I started a very similar thread I was beyond frustrated.

ON the flip side I am doing Halloween time at the other Disney this year and things weren't all that much better. Rivers of Light dining packages didn't open until around the 60 days before (still better than you are dealing with I know but when you booked everything else 4 months before that you are still stuck checking daily for 4 months) and park hours just got updated for my trip that is only 35 days out so if we cant get accurate hours for planning purposes more than 30 days out then its kind of the same as not getting any hours at all.

Both parks need to get it together!

It did happen last year , I was in the same boat - I was trying to book WOCDP too - they left me hanging then boom the dates were avail and I got my booking but it was an anxious wait !!

Do you remember when they showed up? My over planning mind is going slightly insane waiting lol.

I just looked back at my posts from last year they opened up at 30 days out for the early October dates on August 31st.
Wow 30 days out! I remember waiting last year too, but didn't remember it being that long (maybe because you forget those things once everything goes as planned)

Yeh I know it was only a month or so .... waiting for park hours to appear I'm trying to plan for Oct 15-18 it's driving me nuts!!

It is verrrrrry different at Disneyland. So much more laid back which leads to anxiety for WDW pros!

Yup it is.. us over planners are losing our minds haha... My biggest concern is we have 7 in our party and am thinking that getting fantasmic package might be hard. Tomorrow I will try to get our Fantasmic dinner reservation and can relax and wait for WOC Des :rolleyes1
