I can't believe I have six months until my wedding! It totally doesn't seem real and while I"m planning it and making dinner reservations ... what I'm about to do isn't really sinking in...

I"m getting MARRIED. ............. um, woah. haha.

do you guys remember when you had six months to go? did you think it was still a long way away? to me it seems like it's right around the corner and I still have so much to do! aaah! :scared:

and don't even get me started on the walk down the aisle and how much i'm going to cry when my dad walks with me ... he had back surgery a few years ago and has to walk with a cane.. though I know he's going to be stubborn and not use it... and my mom is going to be nothing but waterworks.. and my sister will laugh at me for crying but she'll be tearing up too, I know it!

ahhh, what a crazy day it will be!

Time will fly by-- youll be shocked!! You will look back on this post and think "wow-- where did all the time go".. enjoy your planning!! Then you will go back home and look back and think "Goodness-- the wedding part is over..".... but always looking forward to the marriage!!

Hey!!! I have 6mons too!!!!!!         We are getting married Aug 30th at the Wedding Pavilion and reception over at the boardwalk!!!!:goodvibes :bride: :groom:

WOW how exciting.... You must be so anxious for the day to come... :woohoo:

I remember being 6 months out, seeing how it was only 2 months ago

I cannot get over how quickly time is going. I have been engaged since Dec 05 so I keep putting things off, thinking I have all this time. I still have soooo much to do! It's very overwhelming so I try not to think about it :)

I'm just under the 6 month mark, and I remember when I found these boards, I had over 11 months to go. Time has flown, and I have planned loads, yet there is still more to plan. I feel like my wedding is just around the corner, and in a way I wish it was, cause I'm so excited, but I also wish it wasn't cause I love the anticipation. I'm one of those girls that absolutely love's Christmas Eve (favourite day of the year) but Christmas Day, it's all over until next year. I'm all about anticipation. I think that's why I'm planning everything so much, so it all lives up to my own hype, I want everything to be as close to perfect as possible.
MY DF has said that if I pass my Law Degree (a while yet) then we can go back to Disney World for a Vow Renewal, now if that isn't an incentive, I don't know what is:lmao:

I set my date in mid-January for my DFTW in May, so I actually never even had four months, let alone the luxury of six! I thought the best advantage of a destination wedding was an opportunity to get married sooner without so many details. It turns out I want all the details anyway and setting a date less than four months out is a sprint from start to finish! The hardest part was finding a bridal store that could order dresses quickly (after failing to find anything off the rack).
